Remove Makoto as NEM core developer from the opening post, please. It is misleading. NEM Core Developers

so who is involved or how many in the nem team now.? If Makoto is working on another project now, is it Nem related? who is Lon?
Makoto is still involved. Lon is Rockethead. Not a developer but involved since start. Nothing has changed. |

Lately he has been busy from morning until night marketing, which he has always been a core marketer. A position he has held since we formed the marketing team. |

The apps are basically finished. NEM did have the best distribution of any Alt IPO. Unfortunately, I just don't see the Alt market going anywhere. Everyone is looking at Bitcoin and features like Rootstock will make many Alts useless. A business isn't going to integrate with an Alt when they can integrate with the largest Blockchain ecosystem (Bitcoin). Right now, companies don't even know what to do with Blockchain, by the time they do, Bitcoin will have the features ready. Most people won't have the stomach for Alts beyond speculation. The only Alts that will survive (in my opinion) will be those that can directly interact with Bitcoin. It sucks, but the Alt coin boom is over and dead.
On the contrary, the boom is imminent. We are at the beginning phase of Blockchain technology.  Blue - successive groups of banks/companies/consumers adopting blockchain tech. My forecast for NEM: Warming trend and clear skies through 2016.  Less than 5 years for mass adoption post-V1? I don't think Blockchain will survive, after 5 years, unless it is mass adopted or corporations embrace private chains like Mijin and use public chains like XEM as a medium between their businesses. KimNG is prophetic, V1 will probably reach xxM market cap as XEM is currently around 6M. |

Whats the next update? XEM is been very quite last few months which for me is abit concerning. I do own a significant amount of XEM so I do want the price to skyrocket. The only thing that is skyrocketing is Ethereum atm. Having said that, i do have a realistic point of view so i dont see the price moving anytime soon. |

I used to think that sharp rises were great, but slow and steady is better, we are not here to make money overnight. Give it 5 years and where will we be? |
