I haven't harvested since Block #688188. I'm starting to think something is wrong... so, about 4 days or Any thoughts?

What's your importance? Are you harvesting locally or remote? If the latter, did you check if you are really harvesting or not (the remote might have restarted NIS)?

My importance is .6 and I'm doing remote harvesting via AWS. I'm trying to boost the importance thru buying NEM.

I had this happen alot with delegated harvesting, if the node goes down, you have to reconnect, to another node, or else you can give the node operator your harvesting key to keep on the server so if it goes down it will keep harvesting when its back online Smiley

THANKS! Will look into more Friday when I have time. I gotta get these NEM before the demand gets real crazy!!!!!!!!

Yeah i hope they still stay this cheap too, as ive been earning a bit on my steemit posts, and ive been exchanging it for XEM! Cheesy

From what I see, people here can use steem it to do social media advertising about NEM, then use said profit to buy NEM. Win win for everyone.

I did try that, its real hard to get upvotes from whales.

I've got 4-5 days without any harvested block to. My importance is higher than yours. Think this is normal.

my importance is nearly 3% and i still harvest alot of blocks with nothing in them, but this changes significantly with the volume.

The price/marketcap on CMC is pretty stable (or is decreasing just a bit), but we can see huge decreasing of daily volume. And also, increase of new NEM accounts is almost stopped / very small. We, all "old NEMbers" know about "ninja style" and are "friendly" with it, but maybe for some "more mass adoption/attraction" some kind of news/marketing/whatever should help. Don't ask me how Wink, I'm techie (and I try to do my best for NEM by tech position, of course), not marketee, I'm just thinking about it ... Yes, lot of marketing is just "unlogical mess and crap" (and we, techies, usually hate it), but even that crap can work, sometimes, probably. Look at the whole "wow effect" by ETH/ETC, STEEM and some other coins, where their "technical quality" is - comparing to NEM - very low, if not "almost zero".
Really dunno, but I'm pretty sure, that there are lot of experienced people in sales & marketing section, and their'll be able to find the way, how to popularize NEM on a massive scale (of course we're still on the beginning, even Bitcoin is still far to "worldwide effect"). NEM is so amazing and so technologically advanced project, that it surely deserves.

Finally, thanks to all the devs for their hard work on NEM project - we all really appreciate it!

If you use delegated harvesting on a remote node it could be problems with the remote node
that mean not only you but all the accounts harvesting on that node could have similar problem.
If the node has gone down and is restarted you will have to restart your delegated harvesting.

I had similar problem with the supernode.
Last week I have noticed that my node was failing almost all the tests for one and a half day.
I have dacided to restart th node  and after that all the tests were successfull.
Previous to that my node was running more then 2 month without problem failing some tests sometimes
which i consider normal.

Possible solutions to this harvesting problem could be:
- select another node for delegated harvesting
- if you have your local or remote node
restart your node and after is in sync again activate your local or delegated harvesting.

Yeah, price and marketcap have stayed fairly stable at around 60 million, the volume is what is concerning to me. As of about 5 minutes ago, volume was down to 58,000 which is really really low, if it stays that far down a slip to around 20-30m marketcap is not outside the realm of possibility.. and if that happens without something crazy coming down the pipe we could slip into obscurity. Now obviously I don't want that to happen, but it is something to think about.

Those who worry about the prices now have short term goals. Lets give more time, and definitely need more advertising. Even popular franchises still advertise why can't we do that too. i Know the devs does great work, but needs help in spreading the word out too. We all want to make money and see our XEM/NEM rock the world. Keep up the good work devs.

Yes if you look at the whole chart you will see that XEM has gone a very long way and still has a lot to offer. It is just "resting" right now and it will go down because it is impossible for the people to keep buying forever. Wiat for this to go down at the lows and you should start buying again. Make sure you buy as an investment and hold it very long. XEM is a good investment.

Thats correct, (and as of speaking volume has increased a bit anyway)

The thing is most people bought their XEM at the last pump and intend to hold, we just have to wait for another wave of buyers to come and buy again and the supply will soon drop once more as the demand increases.
