Good read!  More and more exposure for NEM ...

"One advantage Tech Bureau and Hitachi has over its competitors in the global Blockchain market is that the Japanese government and its Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry are in full support of Hitachi’s vision of utilizing Blockchain technology to optimize its point management solution."

This is BIG news!
 Shocked

With all this good news happening it doesn't seem to have any effect on the the price of tokens. If Mijin is using NEM technology who is profiting?

This is what I've been wondering myself. All the good news but nothing that affects the price at all. Tho I am not asking who's profiting. But even with all these good news doesn't help the price to move. I think DEVS seriously need to invest in good advertising.
Enjoying the cheap coins Smiley Look at it as a good opportunity to slowly build a nice position. Rome wasn't built in a day.

NEM did 2400% in 2016 and already up 200% in 2017.

It can't go up everyday or it will be $10 XEM by June.  Cheesy

would not mind that.. Cheesy

Any news on catapult release date yet??

as mentioned some time ago, catapult hasn't even been released as a private chain yet, so it will take some time.
anywhere, your favourite thread is this one https://forum.nem.io/t/stories-from-the-dev-front-diary/2641/1

Who are the people behind the NEM community fund?
When was it decided that initial investor's unclaimed NEM belong to NEM community fund?
Who have the right to make that decision without the investor's agreement?

The extended & extended redemption period was over long & long  time ago.
No one got your NEM coins, they were belonged to NEM community fund.

Initial investors invested only 0~50 USD each.
So small amount caused some investors to forget/neglect their stake and responsibility,  and at last lose it.
As a result, they took away an opportunity of other peoples who wanted to join NEM project but came later.
Right should be accompanied with responsibility.
Had better think they lost not 2,250,000 XEM but only 0~50 USD, and forget all for mental health.
And buy XEM now for material wealth.
Do not miss your second chance.

P.S.)Instead of the expression "initial investor", "initial joiner" would be proper, I think.

hey guys total newby here. let's say i have 100k nem(xem?). how much xem i get for harvesting let's say in one month?
i don't understand the delegating harvesting concept fully. i just "lend" my nem and DON'T have to run my wallet 24/7 as someone else is doing the harvesting for me and I just get the fees in the blocks?

thanks for the explanation

Good to have a faucet again. I hope it will be liquid for some time to have a source for attracting new NEM users.
However there should be a good English version. I could not figure it out how it works. It seems to me it isn't a conventional faucet, rather a lottery or something similar.

there is a very small percentage of the profit - 5% ( 5 and 10 Nem ) for one hour, I think it will last long, but if anything, it can be easy to fill

Full explanation is on below link:

https://blog.nem.io/how-local-and-delegated-harvesting-works/

In delegated harvesting, you still own your XEM, but you delegate the harvesting function to a remote node (can be your own supernode hosted in the cloud if you prefer).  You can power off your local wallet and still continue to harvest, and any harvest XEM will go into your local wallet.

If you can afford 3M XEM, a supernode is a better option to earn daily XEM.
