In the end they just disappeared and left GEMZ to die while they went to work on PayKey (which was a private project like Mijin). I wouldn't doubt it if it's happening with the whole Mijin/NEM hype they are trying to sell us.

When catapult  goes online NEM will be best tech coin in City.
When you see 100m trading voulem at LTC and 3m trading on XEM this is obvious it has room to make like 5x jump with current crypto state just because of volume and catapult will be price catapult

Mijin is pointless to NEM.

Mijin actually creates a lot of value for NEM. Private/permissioned blockchains will be able to solve a lot of problems that a public decentralized one can not but alone can not offer immutability. By linking Mijin to NEM you can get best of both worlds so it's far from pointless and actually creates a lot of value for NEM.
