NEM (or associates) are going to support BC Vilniaus "Lietuvos Rytas"? According to Antanas Guoga:

https://twitter.com/TonyGuoga/status/893434693483466753

It is not a coincidence that Guoga announces his support to NEM and BC "Lietuvos Rytas" gets sponsorship. Very interesting, indeed.

Today it was announce officialy that NEM become main sponsor of BC Lietuvos rytas. They will pay €500 000 in upcoming season. Also, they are planning to spread their business in Vilnius. It's a good deal for both sides, club will get financial support and NEM will get good publicity, because basketball is no.1 sports in Lithuania and also club will play in international competitions, so, NEM advertisements will be visible around whole Europe.

Sponsorship announcement posted on the team's official twitter account > https://twitter.com/BC_LRytas/status/894528728616886272

How odd. The 'Bitcoin Bowl' didn't exactly set the world on fire.

For that sum you may well get a postage stamp on an F1 car. That would open up opportunities for some real heavyweight networking.

Esports is the one where crypto should be headed. That's a vast audience with inbuilt knowledge.

It's an odd one, but I'll take it.

Is that the reason for the recent rally, plus random "summer is over, tech is coming" speculation?

do you think nem up price 1usd? in yobit nem have price 0.74

That's very strange. And only 0.9 BTC volume. I suppose it's not shitty enough to interest Yobit traders.

Edit - you can't deposit to it so it's in a little world of its own.

Is anyone else having issues with NEM withdrawals on Poloniex? With all the liquidation rumors floating around I've decided to move my NEM from Poloniex to NEM wallet. I did a test run for 1K XEM and transfer went through without any issues. Then I've tried to transfer 100K and transaction was pending for several hours. I've opened a ticket with Poloniex - to which they still haven't responded. Eventually transaction status changed from pending to complete: error. Xem is not showing on my Polonex account and it hasn't been transferred to my wallet either. It seems to be stuck in Limbo. Since then I've tried contacting Poloniex and opened several tickets. It's been almost a week so I'm getting really worried. Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Poloniex has some big technical problems since 2-3 months transferring all kind of coins, so it is not the problem of NEM!
I heard of some guys who waited more than 3 weeks before they get their coins, I think they also have not enough employees to solve all the tickets.
But till now everybody get their coins it is just a matter of time.
Don't stop opening tickets and maybe try to contact them on other channels(facebook, twitter etc.)

There you go https://cointelegraph.com/news/suddenly-bitcoin-exchange-poloniex-changes-terms-of-use-triggers-alarm

Me sees some limitations token sale, whitepaper goes

Quote
  • Token sale participants will receive 1 COMSA (Symbol: CMS) token per 1USD equivalent contribution. No cap is set.
  • At the end of the token sale, based on the number of tokens issued for the participants, an equal number of CMS tokens will be issued and issuance will be locked. In other words, 100% more will be issued over the subscribed number.
  • Of this 100% more, 10% will be distributed as referral bonuses to token sale referrals. 40% will be distributed to the existing management team, stakeholders, developers, employees, contractors, and COMSA ICO committee management.  50% will be retained by Tech Bureau for future development, future distributions, marketing, partnerships, compensations, and expansions.
  • As a result, 55% of the grand total will be distributed to the contributors.
Presale of CMS tokens with a 20% bonus will be available for participants who intend to contribute at least 100,000 USD equivalent of cryptocurrencies. Presale can be purchased with BTC, ETH or XEM. Please contact COMSA management team at https://comsa.io/en/#contact

Me sees minimum 100k$ now around 400k XEM, too much for me poor me

Was this coin distributed as an airdrop in the beginning?

The very first people to express an interest got free stakes. Then it moved on to a pretty piddling amount. I think it was 0.045 BTC. That might have risen as more people got on board but I think the total amount gathered was only about 65 BTC.

Does someone know if the Message that you can include whilst withdrawing from Poloniex is encrypted or unencrypted?
Since bittrex wants an unencrypted message for depositing I need to know.

Once when withdrawing PASC from Poloniex it encrypted the message which led to problems with another exchange, so I'll better ask this time. Thanks Smiley

It was free (reply "interested" to the thread) in the beginning.
Also quite free it was if made some meme or writing to other web sites  ...
The payment increased after every 10 pages :

Blimey that's a blast from the past. I've no memory of what attracted me to it. I wonder how many people on that thread were either exterminated or blew it long before the present day. How far it's come. What was going to be a NXT clone now looks poised to spurt into the cosmos.

NEM team are opening their own exchange. Check back a few pages for the link.

NEM is working on Trezor according to the NEM news video but I would wait for Trezor to announce it on their website if they haven't already
