It's hard for NEM to come back to top 10.

I don't think that's going to be possible. There are much worse projects higher up but they're slowly carving their place in the minds of the public and that doesn't go away. Nem's ability to capture hearts and minds is non existent still after all these years. It's had five years to be 'discovered'.

I'm sure the price can be much higher than it is at present in future, but it's not dislodging the projects at the tippy top. The developers would say that's not relevant and for their purposes and reasoning it's true.

I just checked the history of NEM and this had a capitalization of 1 mio at one point? And it went up to 15 bil? Oh my god... This is like truly insane for this who held their coins all the way.

but not for the ones who didn't sell at the top  Shocked

If you have been early into NEM you wouldn't even have to have sold at the top and still could have made a fortune.
Now the price NEM,  as the entire cryptocurrency market is at the bottom , but I think everything will change NEM has a great potential for growth .

If you have a look at the market capitalization and don't compare it to the ATH, it is still a good achievement where it is today.

Agree, but selling a stake for $4.5M sounds better than at $100K.  But yes, $100K is lifechanging money for some.

People usually think that the others are similar as they are.
What kind of people are bitcoin_age's Wink  ?

The answer is found from here, from the 1st post:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2150394.msg21512975#msg21512975

Hmmm, some kind of coin has been "created"  ... what is the situation of that coin?
How much work have you done for it? How many working days?
(a helpful hint: a working day means 7 hours of work)

Unfortunately, there are no alternative trading platforms for trading the XEM mosaics. Some projects still refuse to use the ETH network but there is no point to continue to use NEM tokens. By the way, why do you deduct an additional fee when sending the NEM token with attaching an encrypted message?

But that is just how it works. If people sold Bitcoin at $1 some of them certainly thought it was a great trade if they bought at $0.10. To be honest selling something at a 10 times gain is great trade. How often is that going to happen to someone in life?

Xem was my first cryptocurrency for investments. It was 2017 summer and I bought around 300 Xem coins. That price raised at least to 4x.

Some people might think that this is no big deal, but I do think it is. Mcdonalds is big and if fast food makes it into crypto we are not far away from many others to follow them.

Yes this is a big boost to to all entities involve. Does this marketing activity already in effect or implemented? I would love to hear some feedbacks from the users / customers themselves about it.

Regulation in Russia is not yet ready. I think it's good that no personal information is needed for verification, as such centralized exchanges have become rare. However, I would only trade small amounts there. The cxchange can disappear overnight and there are no opportunities to do anything in Russia - unlike, for example, in New Zealand with the Cryptopia case.
So stay careful and trade only small amounts you can lose and do not save XEM there in the longer term.

It is the trend for now, and for future.
Authorities will require KYC on crypto exchanges, and it will happen around the globe, sooner or later.

In my opinion, KYC is not too bad way to help investors better to catch scammers if something seriously wrong with crypto exchanges.
Yeah, the fact is when scam exits occur, it is hard for police, local authorities to investigate, then catch scammers and get part of stolen money from them, and give those money back to investors. It's the fact, but KYCs might help somehow.

The key lesson is should not store all your money on exchanges due to risk to lose all your money from exchanges' hacks, or scam exits.

Authorities will require KYC on crypto exchanges, and it will happen around the globe, sooner or later.

That may be a trend. But not a good one. The goal of Bitcoin and crypto currencies was to create an independent free elite-less money system. With all the regulation you give this up and become dependent again on exactly those you wanted to fight.

In my opinion, KYC is not too bad way to help investors better to catch scammers if something seriously wrong with crypto exchanges.

Identifying scammers is just an excuse. The point is to keep the money flows or value flows under control. In my opinion, those who support KYC and AMLs hurt crypto currencies.
