Hello. I downloaded the NEM wallet, after many years, and I want to log in with my old account. But I don't see any options to import private key, or enter account address. The only options is to select wallet from local storage.
There's some documentation on how to import private key on the NEM forum: https://docs.nem.io/en/nanowalletThanks. But all I find is a definition of what a private key is. Kind of weird that there's not an intuitive option. It's ok, I'll just create a new one. |

A private key wallet can only be created if you already have a private key for a previously created NEM address. You should use this wallet type if you need to import an old account or paperwallet to a new NanoWallet. You can import private key using Add Account -> Enter Key (put here private key from nano wallet). I'll be interested to see how it acts if/when there's a generalised alt pump. I'm going to give it to the end of the year to see if there are any signs of life. It's not looking good but things can turn on a dime. But that in itself is frustrating and depressing. After all this time it's still picked up and dropped again. It's gained effectively zero traction. If nothing much happens it may be time to stick a fork in it. Yep. Looks like NEM is on verge of total crash. People selling it month after month, so it is pretty much game over. On Polo there’s like 25 BTC in buy orders and like 1300 in sell orders. Why crash? Nem has made around 2x for last few month. As I know they promised launch Catapulta in September this year... So hope we will see good progress soon at last  |

Scheduled for release later this year, NEM’s upcoming Catapult protocol will enable atomic cross-chain swaps and include support for the emerging security token market. According to NEM Ventures co-founder Dave Hodgson Catapult is a full re-write of the NEM protocol - with several new features. “We’ve applied all the learning that comes with running version 1 in production for four years,” he says. “It is a more performant, scalable and feature-rich protocol as a result. Catapult will become the core NEM engine, powering both private and public blockchains.” Catapult’s features will include unique smart contract plug-ins to enable a wide range of capabilities such as digital asset creation, atomic cross-chain swaps, advanced account systems, and business logic modeling. Hodgson says that enabling atomic cross-chain swaps will “allow companies to run a private chain, and create new transaction types which can then reconcile to the public chain. Examples would be patient health data, retail energy trading, and high frequency and log value internal cost movements. So wTF is goin on with this project. How did this once great product managed to s*** the bed.
How is the ninja releases are working out?
Catapult catapult for over 2 years now am I right.
Least you can do is give the Silver coins funds (in XEM) to the original stakeholders like it was promised and written on rich list.
You guys managed to miss use the funds (not the new team). Like I said many times. Even a good product can fail
with out making good noise. as much as I dont like tron a least their out there getting exposure.
But ninja tactic is good right? Will this project die like a ninja too, like no one will know too?
Anymore ninja release? lol
Took so long for us to come out with something, betting everything on CATAPULT that until now is not even ready.
While a lot of good project has come out. What a waste of opportunity. We can't even stay in TOP 20 lol
Don't mind my frustration.

if you where all-in with XEM , that maybe is your own fault , i also take part in XEM (lucky me ) but i also take part in lot of other opportunity's , maybe you should spread your holding's? |

I'm going to be narked if it emerges when general interest in alts is at a long term low but it looks like that might be the case. That's pretty much its one chance for a compelling hook and no one's going to be remotely arsed about it. I guess we'll have to wait and see but I don't think alts are going to be doing much for quite some time to come. |
