1 stake worth is currently based on current market value. But no 1 knows the what will be the actual value when the coin will launched.

Yes, NEM stake is free distribution. The early one got it free, but after sometime one had to pay to get a stake

Thgh I have been thinking that, but it is a long process. First get the NXT, then send to a exchange and then get the BTC
