sorry looks like the lowest ammt of ram i can get free is about 13.8gb this must be my issue, thanks for your time and help though!.

got it running without generate set.
though neither my mac or this pc show any blocks, or sync or lack thereof.  it just shows connections. the debug window accepts commands but never outputs from them

$MAID & $BTC other than that some short hodls and some long held garbage.

Oh that happens if you don't have the right config file. Try sticking the config in "C:\Users\<USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\ShinyCoin\shinycoin.conf"

I'd say thanks dev for the idea now it's time for somebody else to build on it and make something worthwhile

Anyone know good a good developer?  Isn't that kind of the reason we're all here, because nobody is willing to do anything other than copy other peoples code?  Poor sunny spends time actually writing code but too incompetent to do all this other stuff around a coin launch correctly.  The different pow is interesting, it looks like info transactions is a new feature as well, haven't seen it on another coin.  Calling out for anyone who can do it all.  That's like only a handful of people unfortunately.  At least there appears to be a real change rather than a fuckin copy and bs promotion.

Primer what do you see or know that none of us do?
You bash the coin and the dev day and night but I'm sure you're still mining it so what do you know that we all don't yet?

I see a lot of blocks are being processed now.  Everyone please make sure to update the code if you're stuck at block 8.  Thank you to laxori for posting windows binaries, and to instacash for posting mac binaries.

I am not mining, i just noticed that the only wallet i got running was stuck at block 8.
The dev better fork again and lower the memory requirements. As someone posted earlier - dev needs a reality check  Grin  Grin

Primer you're either you're a total numbskull retard or you're doing you're best to make sure nobody mines.  Its pretty clear its the latter as you know damn well there was an update, your last post was that.  What is wrong with you?
