Anything ever happen in Minnesota?  Wouldn't mind knowing some local people that actual buy/sell and trade and all that fun stuff around here.  I am just south of the cities for those of you near them let me know!

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

There's this in the cities: http://www.meetup.com/Everything-Bitcoin/

and we have a small occasional gathering in Rochester: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1435672883312478/

Hardforks aren't that hard. It’s getting others to use them that's hard.
