It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

any reason for the recent dumps?

People freak out when there's no news for a little while.

This coin is in for the long haul and features are constantly being developed.

Unlike other coins the devs here don't produce a bunch of hype about features to try and get pumps going.

So in the short term there will be people who dump because they are used to quick profits and losses from coin trading.

Many people treat most coins like options contracts or penny stocks instead of blue chip stocks.

Which is good for most coins because usually they are worthless and the dev is usually long gone.

You should get closer to 50,000 kh/s .

What version of the miner are you using?

Easy way to find out is that the GUI reports the version in 1.3 if you see no version then your before 1.3.

Also, what are your settings?

I like this idea and coin... and I almost never like altcoins.

My main concern is: There only seems to be one core developer.

What is to happen with this project if the coin developer gets sick? Gets too busy and can no longer develop?  Or (heaven forbid) dies?

The sooner this project can get more core developers and core is open-sourced, the sooner this project will become more viable: https://github.com/VidereLicet/

You can see commitment of developer for this project.
Also how many coins project it's coded from scratch. ?
99 % of coins is copy/paste coins. Offer nothing new. scam coins. with xxyyy virtual developer - copy paste developer.
now it's 9 month from start.  And development it's going forward. constantly.....
It's your choice ,  CSD or something else...

I never said the developer was not committed, nor did I say anything about his capabilities.  Obviously this is a very talented developer.

The questions I raised are pretty legitimate and are the main reasons CoinShield core needs to be open-sourced ASAP.  There are many centralized features of this project which are entirely dependent on a single individual...

There are many coin with several developers, but some of this project ended with a bad story. Sometimes it is better one but worthy.

Really the timelines depends a lot on our publicity, as if I open the source now it will be ripe for the picking for clone devs.

That article is so far outdated that was posted in July 2014 with outdated information that AltcoinsToday neglected to keep up with during the development of Coin Shield. White paper is 43 pages now, there has been a lot of new development that I am introducing with this paper.
So keep posted, I am releasing everything in stages  Wink

Thank You,
