What's wrong with http://nexusniropool.cestballot.fr today? PPS has decreased, too many machines give 0 PPS.
How to contact support or the owners of the pool to send them a message in case of problems of this kind?

Wallet Crash, we will be up asap

Pool up  Cool

Work Day (4 k/h - 25 i5 + even the little things) lost...
Explain why in my test i7 7 threads cpu are used for mining NIRO on your pool 260-280 PPS and the same machine and threads on nexusminingpool.com 360-380 PPS (I tested by 1 day each pool)? What does it affect?
And that means WPS in miner?

The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

As long as you are testing over a reasonable time frame (a few hours at least), variance in the PPS between the pools is indicating that you are being starved of work.  the PPS value is an average from when you started the miner, so if there is any down time on the pool it will lower the PPS for a long time as the average will take time to come back up.  I know cestballot has been working on his pool (as have I on nexusminingpool.com) as we are both deploying some important updates.  So it will probably return to normal.

Can anyone help me with securing my wallet? I have strong password, VPN, good antivirus/firewall software and this computer is not used to browse internet. What else can I do.

We need a good guide of how to secure the wallets to the max.

I am paying the following bounties for well done and approved user guides for: CPU Mining (both solo and both pools) 250 Nexus, GPU Mining Guide that includes links to the compiled miners or process for compiling and directions to successfully set them up Windows (AMD 250 Nexus, Nvidia 250 Nexus), Linux you pick the version (AMD 500 Nexus, Nvidia 500 Nexus).  I understand there are many different cards and versions of Linux.  I am looking for a good start that we can add to for different versions as issues arise.  These must walk a new user through the process and be easy to understand.  I will double each if you make a text guide and a good video guide.  These guides must also be reviewed by miners in the Community (those active in #mining on Slack) and the bounty awarded upon consensus of these folks.  Also, please post in here of you are working on these items, so we don't have duplication of efforts.

EDIT: CPU for Windows (Solo and Pool) Guides Completed; GPU Miner for AMD on Windows Guide In Review; I have upped the bounty for Linux GPU to AMD 500 Nexus, Nvidia 500 Nexus

Lol.  Nice and simple Smiley  We are aiming to provide beginners with something they can use.  This is the one completed by Bunnywinkles for AMD on Windows.

:: Title: AMD GPU Solo Mining

:: OS: Windows

:: Author: Bunnywinkles

:: Original: 7/23/2016

:: Updated: N/A

This guide assumes you have successfully set up your Nexus Wallet. It was created and tested using Windows 10 64-bit.

1.  Download the Solo Miner

        http://nexusoft.io/platform/binaries/miners/SKMiner_Windows_v1.2_x64.7z

2.  Extract the miner

3.  Verify your wallet is open and unlocked

3.  Navigate to the extracted miner

11. Double Click 'csd.bat' to start mining

12. Congratulations, you are now mining!

Hi, basic comparative questions that I think will intrigue a broader audience:

Nexus developer team always emphasizes that Nexus [NIRO] can peacefully co-exist with bitcoin.  Is there any structural reason, however, that bitcoin could not be phased out by market forces for NIRO in the coming years?

Is there anything unique about bitcoin, or any other altcoin, that Nexus [NIRO] cannot outperform?

What are the likely/plausible scenarios of losing essential functionality that will cripple Bitcoin and others in the upcoming
years that NIRO will survive?

What characteristics about NIRO cannot be copied retroactively to Bitcoin and other long standing altcoins?

Please answer in novice terminology so that answers are effectively tweetable.  Thank you.
