once staking with the new wallet and then make a backup of ur wallet.dat will make sure that ur backup contain the trust key too

it wont again change by itself and move all ur funds via trust staking mechanic towards a address that u dont have in ur backup

a big improvement regarding wallet backups viable for a fallback szenario and desaster recovery

in fact because NXS staking move all ur wallet funds sooner or later towards the trust key address

it cover change dust in addresses u dont have in wallet backup better than any other bitcoin based coin

also,
not sure if it has been fixed yet, but the invisibility of the trust key transactions in the linux daemon was a major thing to be fixed too.
ie the movement of coins into the trust key did not show up in "listtransactions"

After a lot of DDOs attack and multiple vector attack we found and solved some bug.

Now Nexus will have a better Networks without windows Node (Windows server is just a joke, but I started my personnal node with it, 2 year ago)

its a address with added trust tracking
the trust address is ur most important address of all
all ur coins will over time be in this address because they can only stake there
nexus is written in a way that only trust addresses can participate in POS

the new version colin release soon will make sure this very important address never again change on its own

so once u have the new wallet
and once u staked with that new wallet

make a new backup of the wallet.dat

AND

i strong suggest u also make a dumpprivkey of the trust address
and store this non digital

means a sheet of paper in ur save

with ur private key u can import this address always into a new wallet.dat
this way u will gain access to ur coins again

what i cant answer is if a dump and import of a trust key
result in the address be again a trust address after import or just a simple normal address then

for answer this i would have to dig into the code and i have no time for this now

Thanks for your help. I have already downloaded 0.2.0.5 and able to run without any issues...My wallet started to stake too..by the way for staking, i used to pass -stake parameter with the previous version, but the new one doesn't seem to require the option for staking.

Anybody, who is mining NXS with GPU, can you tell us your hasrate and how many blocks you find average per day???
