Hello all,

I have a question to ask you, how I can change NXS to BTC for example like we can do for others Cryto on changelly website ?

Thanks

for now by use this exchange manually
https://www.bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-NXS
a automated conversion service that include NXS isnt known to me yet
but will be very likely happen in the next months too

I see, thanks for the answer, I will wait automated conversion to mine nxs.

bittrex has an autosell feature.  https://bittrex.com/Lab/AutoSell

It doesn't automatically send you the BTC out of your account, but it does the conversion immediately.

You could, but most people recommend against storing large amounts of coin at an exchange wallet.  There's no reason to think Bittrex will have problems, but exchanges are often targets for hacking because of the large amounts of money involved.  Small amounts, no problem.

Ok, I create a NXS and BTC wallet there, I select autosell for NXS, it will put it on the BTC wallet, and when I have enough I withdraw BTC on my bitcoin account that is outside of bittrex. Does I understand all?

Yes.  If you're pool mining, it needs to go to your wallet first, and then to bittrex.  If you're solo mining, it will be in your wallet automatically, so you can just send them to the exchange from there.

The only thing to know about autosell is that it dumps onto any waiting buy orders.  It's good for speed, but it means you don't necessarily get the best price.  (It's good for those of us trying to acquire more nxs cheaply, of course.  Patience is rewarded, and impatience costs you a little bit. :-).  But from a mining perspective, it's nice because everything becomes fully automated.

*** New CPU Pool Miner released ***

The CPU Pool Miner has been updated with the following changes:

 - Now uses a config file rather than startup parameters.  The config file (miner.conf) just needs to exist in the same location as nexus_cpuminer(.exe) and the miner will load it on startup.  A sample config file miner.conf.example has been included for reference.  NOTE:  if you provide a pool, port, and payout address as startup parameters in your bat/bash script then this will override the values in miner.conf.

 - The config file includes new values allowing the parameters of the prime sieving / wheel factorisation to be adjusted.  Changing these values can have an impact on your PPS and WPS, and the effect will vary from CPU to CPU.  More details are in the accompanying README

 - PPS and WPS are now 5-minute averages instead of lifetime average.  This provides more immediate feedback of the miner state

 - WPS is now based on all >= 3-tuples (diff 3 shares) found, irrespective of pool minimum share, giving a more accurate measure of current miner effectiveness.  The WPS is a measure of the number of 3-tuples (diff 3 shares) your miner finds per minute, weighted based on the difficulty, so higher value shares give more of an increase in WPS.  A higher WPS value is preferable over higher PPS, so bear this in mind when adjusting the sieve parameters

 - PPS and WPS values are now submitted to the pool server, so these values can be collected and displayed by pools as and when they add support for it

Windows Binaries (including CPU-specific builds) currently available here http://www.nexusminingpool.com/downloads/nexus_cpuminer.zip
Source Code available here https://github.com/Nexusoft/PrimePoolMiner

Please update to this version ASAP so that pools can collect accurate PPS/WPS values

I've updated nexusminingpool.com to include a bunch of new statistics for miners including:-

 - PPS / WPS / Connection count for each miner, graphed over the last 24 hours (latest miner version required for this)
 - Earnings per hour/day/week/month
 - Payments per hour/day/week/month
 - Earnings history per round
 - Payment history
 - Pool total PPS / WPS
 - Pool blocks found per hour/day/week/month

Be sure to update your miner to the latest version in order to view your WPS/PPS on the pool website.

You probably need quotes around the host, port, and nxs_address:

"host" : "nexusminingpool.com",
and so on.  Make yours look as much as possible like the example:  https://github.com/Nexusoft/PrimePoolMiner/blob/master/miner.conf.example

Good newsletter! Clear and precise.

I look forward to the new site, maybe a new logo, and of course signing the contract with vector space.

Good luck to the whole team. Wink
