A programmer friend of mine wrote this to celebrate Nexus's contributions to finding prime clusters:

http://www.nxsprime.com/

It's not updated automatically yet, but could be if there is interest.

Congratulations to the Nexus team for everything they're accomplishing.

Wow!  Very Cool!  Thanks for sharing.

yup - ditto ...

chrysophylax,

You are making this compilation a bigger problem then it is. If you post your full error as I already asked I can help you get it compiled. The reason you are having an issue from what I saw is that inttypes in cstdlib are missing a macro on CentOS.  If you continue to find trouble, giving up and then complaining is not the solution to solving your problem, further contact with the right people is what will solve your problem.

Thank You,
Viz.

Glad you like it.  I asked him if he could make it update regularly, and he did now.
Since it was first posted, Nexus has found another 9-chain.  There are only three
8-chains left on the top-10 list.  Looking forward to the first length-10!

viz ...

i know that ...

im not 'just' complaining ... im frustrated ... im NO newbie here and this is the ONLY coin giving me these headaches - and i am one of those people that does not just 'complain' and then go and sit on my bum and do nothing about it ...

the background work i have made is actually an interesting endeavour - as ive not only taken on board the suggestions made by the few that have tried to help here - but also scouring the internet to resolve these issues ... it seems that the daemon itself has an inherent coding issue that the gcc / compilation packages in centos 7 ( let alone any other rhel based distro ) dont like ...

how to get to the bottom of it? ... do what im doing now ...

my history will show you that i am like a dog with a bone ... i wont give up - and i certainly wont just sit and complain about it ...

so dont try and make me out to be some retard that does nothing but mate ... i can assure you of the complete opposite with me ...

due to the devs lack of care to those of any other distribution but ubuntu ( like most here in crypto ) - these issues are present ... so please mate - dont try and belittle me again ... i am much more of a resource than you think ... or give me credit for ...

and btw - the error WAS posted ...

amph ...

there are times where you solve / hit a block that has NO awards ( coins ) in it - and its those blocks that are not registered from what i can see from the ready compiled qt wallet ...

what would have been good - is to show that there is a block that was solved / hit - and zero rewards ... but it doesnt look like that happens ...

The
Solo CPU miner seems to be half as fast as the PrimePoolMiner.

Couldn't hurt to have a new CPU miner for solo since there is no built
in miner.

It works when Nexus first started as that was all the easy coins, but
you don't want to turn out like Riecoin with 1-2 pools.  Even 3-4 pools
is not enough decentralization.  But someone is not going to try to
build a Nexus Server/cpuMiner if it only works half as well to run it compared to
the Pool.  There is no incentive to SoloMine anymore.

Also having a nice coin like this but using proprietary driver from
Nvidia and AMD kinda defeats the purpose of having any security.
Although AMD has stated they are developing an open source kernal for
their GPU's.  That time is not now and Nexus mining getting good is over
for the most part with around 50 million of the 75 million already
Generated.

when you said it was NOT showing in the transaction list - thats usually why ...

an orphan block DOES show in the transaction list ...

or did i misinterpret what you said? ... that is always what happens when im too tired and work too long hours during the day and night - so apologies if that is the case - and i misunderstood ...

but glad you figured out what was wrong eitherway amph / majoh ...

They both run at the same speed, how did you measure performance?

From the display of the miner itself?

Where it says PPS

But it is more like 30-40% difference not half, but it might as well be with the advantage of pool mining over a Solo node.
