My second card is GTX750ti, it works with skminer v1 - 17MH/s
But doesn't work with optimized miner, it says:

"you wish you had those cards" Cry
Grin
it means it doesn't recognize what you typed (probably the capital letters)
So you have a typo somewhere...
it should be something like that skminer 127.0.0.1:9325 gtx750#1,gtx750#2

If you have only on nvidia card ou don't need to use the second argument

Would the miner be faster if I compiled it on my computer?
Does pool server software check for bad addresses?

Yampi the furthest extent it checks in your address is its size [51 bytes]. I will add more functionality to this once I make sure everything else is stable and processing properly.

I think you should release wallet source code to get the big support from community and to attract whales jump in.

Should also invite some guys from bitmark forum such as Mark, 82ndabnmedic, Este nuno, they helped to made marketting well for bitmark. I was the first one jump in bitmark with huge hash rate so I saw these guys were perfect in marketing.

hey, do you have some kind of VARDIFF planned for the pool? The current rate of share submission is too high in my opinion.

Also I have a concern about potential DDOSability of your pool. What if I sent you lots and lots of shares that I have identified as isolated primes (i.e. no additional primes within a distance of +12). Then it becomes a pi**ing match betwern my GPUs finding such primes and your server's CPU trying to validate such shares. It would not be very hard to overwhelm your pool's computing power. So you definitely need a blacklist mechanism for clients that submit too many shares below target difficulty.

Christian,

The pool is already VARDIFF, I made the smallest accepted share to be 3 so little guys could still get some in a timely manner [I can adjust that anytime, the miners know how to interpret the minimum share difficulty]. You can attack pool if you'd like, and I'll find the weak points. False primes such as that won't really slow things down too much, it's the clusters that take some time to verify. If this was the case, I can add a DDOS filter to ban the user after x below difficulty shares in given timeframe. The DDOS protection will evolve based on information such as this.

Thank You,
Viz.

I have been mining to an invalid address, does the coin balance for that invalid address stay in pool ? because I am expecting wallet to give an error when pool serv tries to send the address it's earnings.

in the shoutbox on coinshieldtalk it was announced that wallet address checking has been improved a lot (to avert spamming and DOS attacks with false addresses) and any invalid addresses have been purged from the database. So yes, your coins mined with invalid addresses will stay in the pool's wallet and it's highly unlikely you will ever get them Wink

Well there is no need to get the little amount of csd left that was earned by the invalid address which I purposely mined to.

Yampi,

I noticed, it's what caused the crash earlier which is why I had to improve the address validation because it caused a failed assertion in the wallet for being an invalid address.
