I have 8x 7970 (currently using as gaming PCs) that I built to mine Bitcoin years ago. Should I use them to mine X11 or Scrypt-N coins? Are they profitable /w electricity costs?

Right now I'd do 1/2 x11 and x13 and mine the hot ones and hold

TAG: YAC | Name:YACoin | Algo: ScryptJane15 | BTC/day: 2.21373493 | Coins/day: 373311.11782952 | Best exchange: Cryptsy | BTC price: .00000593 | BTC volume: .48798452 | Difficulty: .007 | Blockreward: 57.426

Does that make sense? Using 2.2mh/s (4 x 7970 = 550 kh/s each) That will yield about 2.2 BTC a day?

Can't compile as your missing files in the project source.

You sure they give 550kh each on YACoin? Wink All numbers are in MH btw.

This is what I get:
Error   2   Source file 'ApiControl\PoolPicker.cs' could not be found   C:\cuda-profit-calc-0.2b\CudaProfitCalc\CSC   CudaProfitCalc
Error   1   Source file 'JsonControl.cs' could not be found   C:\cuda-profit-calc-0.2b\CudaProfitCalc\CSC   CudaProfitCalc
Error   3   Source file 'MiscJson.cs' could not be found   C:\cuda-profit-calc-0.2b\CudaProfitCalc\CSC   CudaProfitCalc

This is from cuda-profit-calc-0.2b.zip

BTW, exact same results as before when using "master".

I'd mine X11 as it will probably give you the least headache.  Mining X11 on BetaRigs is a good bet for profitability depending on electrical costs. You have to keep up to date with miners and drivers on X11 though as optimizations keep being made.

you can mine x11or x13 coins if you have cheap electricity but both x11 and x13 profitability has reduced over last weeks , so it narrows down to how cheap your power cost is.
