guiminer(20121203) and cgminer(2.11.3, 2.6.6) fail to start on Win 7/64

Hi there,

actually I lied, the miners do start:
- guiminer produces an icon in the tray which does nothing when clicked
- cgminer says "[2013-04-05 17:40:26] Started cgminer 2.11.3"

Both use 33% CPU, that is 1 core. No log files written, no nothing.

Does anybody know what could be the cause?

I had this happen recently turned out i needed to wipe all traces of drivers and do a clean install.

Driver Sweeper 3.2.0 (Do not update turns it into "Driver Fusion" a pay to do anything crap update)

Remove all AMD reboot if it asks then reinstall 12.10 and App SDK
