nice volume & price action @ poloniex today ... is BTM back in the game?

Most certainly not, and i doubt it will come back. However, i heard someone was mining heavily to temporarily get the blockchain going so they could send their coins somewhere.

also, BTM could be brought back but i seriously doubt it.

looks like somebody knows something we don't then - price up 182% on ~7 btc volume - I'm not complaining either Smiley

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

I assume the buying/volume is from people reading the chat in slack related to the new dev nearing completion on dbkeys' new algo.

Since people are wondering about why there's suddenly so much more buy support and volume, that's my best guess.

I guess that with high difficult and very low hashrate blocks are generated very low, Last block was generated yesterday (47003) , Add Block Maturity: 720 Blocks,It take a day to confirm a transaction as someone noted earlier. Its could be of the more slow that I've seen.I'm not surprised about why  it is reaching the bottom. So wich the next thing is?  Is dev active on here?

Isn't the first one asking for so much work to be mature

As you can see i posted a request for nodes that didn't got answered, so i suppose there isn't a community behind this coin and even the dev isn't active or is ignoring this thread

I'll ask in slack about the node issue.

The original dev is no longer involved but there is currently active development going on from dbkeys and the developer he's hired to implement his ideas.

not sure where the other pool is, used to mine btm through hash2coins but they no longer have the port for it.
the op hasn't been changed for months so cant trust the links there.
can ask in slack.

Apparently there is still some interest. Mining spiked before the diff change, might be someone that wants the upper hand when the diff changed or something.
