I started mining at $20 but didn't bother joining to post until it had dropped to $15.  It kept dropping to $2... and I didn't buy any coins....Doh!

was after the first chinese ban, think around current price or below.

I fell sad and motivated to work harder to get as many bitcoins as I can with all these people buying bitcoins at below-$100 level Sad

I joined this forum in December 2012. At that time, Bitcoin was trading at $12 or $13. Actually I first heard about Bitcoin in 2011 (from my friend), but never took it seriously.
