It's important for users to know they could lose coins if they make a mistake on exchanges, which has been brought to our attention by three users who lost coins this way.
DeltaNine and our team are on good relations and we will sort this out if it becomes a major problem in the future.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in
Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it
will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

i think you guys are missing the point....it's an issue, has nothing to do with "wanting cheap coins" and it's not a CCN vs. CANN, who is better sort of thing.
If there's a technical glitch in the wallet, it needs to be addressed. Calling for the CANN coders or requesting that they reach out to the CCN guys is a good thing. Why the animosity towards CCN?
Good question, I suspect people look at the markets and think there is some correlation? Where else would I post something to inform your community... this is the main page where CANN topics are discussed, no?

That totally sucks, I've made some pretty simple mistakes in a hurry on exchanges and can relate to human error. Actually in really life I sometime even lose money because I am not as careful as I should be. If you can gather the transaction details maybe I can help ease their pain a little bit A better way to have address this might have gone a little like this... "Please make sure you are careful and are sending your coins to the corrects address. In case you haven't noticed CannabisCoin and CannaCoin have similar names and if you are careless you could make a mistake and send your transaction to the wrong address resulting in losing control of your coins." You could also advise, as bittex does, "Please verify your withdrawal address. We cannot refund an incorrect withdrawal." So I think we can put this matter to rest unless this "glitch" is more than just human error...

Actually, you guys being so rude to their team is bad for business. Imagine if there is some bomb ass plan right around the corner that they are about to unveil and here you are talking a lot of shit about another coin which has reached out to CANN to collaborate. Let CANN developers decide these things please.

See the charts - a while after that pastebin was posted , the dump begin perhaps, but clearly that was not the intent.....if there's a glitch, there's a glitch. I'm sure the CCN guys have the best of intentions and have tried reaching out to CANN coders without having to come to a public forum in order to do so. The problem is, no response, and no one other than perhaps a very BUSY Delta9 knows who the nerdy-coders are --- i don't know, just sayin'. Anyway, there's A LOT of activity going on with CANN this weekend, there's a lot of eyes focused on the exchanges trying to ride the waves up and down, so anyone watching will surely react to any news -- positive or negative, so go with the flow if you're a day-trader. This was not a ploy to "get cheap coins". You guys really need to lighten up -- sheesh! Well said.

I have to agree. Hindsight is 20/20 and it's easy for schmucks to criticize and back-track after being called out for being weenies. I'm sorry, "TheCoinMonster" but your posting about how tokyopotato "should have posted" makes you sound like a giant douche. The CCN Dev had nothing but good intentions here. I'm sure he's tried (to no avail) to reach the right people "privately". This was indeed the right place to bring this up because it's the only CANN place that has the most "frequent" activity and probably the best place to get the attention the issue deserves. I, for one, am glad he did - we should all be. If you want to say his post caused a dump, feel free, but that's as baseless an accusation as any. I'd argue that all the same fan boys salivating at Delta9's every word, praising his every move is about as much manipulation in the other direction as Tokyopotato's post identifying a real issue and requesting someone reach out to help address it. Seriously, everyone, relax....CCN is not out to compete, replace or bring down CANN. The price is fluctuating very much on its own. No one can sit here and say it's all because of a posting from the CCN Devs.....get real!

You are defending your dev in CANN thread, calling TheCoinMonster names and dare to mention CANN fan boys? You must be kidding.

CCN is good. It doesn't look like they are going to work exclusively with CANN. CannaPay currently has the POT, CANN, CCN and THC logos on it. It's hard to make partnerships when there are no companies to partner together. These are open source projects. How would coin devs work together? Would they trade large sums of coins with each other so that they have stake in both coins? Nobody knows if delta9 owns 90% of all CANN or if he owns 0% of all CANN. Nobody knows how much CCN the CCN devs own either. Nobody knows how many coins these devs have to try and put together deals. I can't really see how it would work where both coins would benefit without reducing the growth of the other coin. Either way. All the marijuana coins are good. I love em all.

Not defending "my DEV", just "a DEV" while at the same time pointing out how foolish some of you sound with these baseless accusations and the holier than thou "should have" nonsense.

First off, there is NO ISSUE.
User error is not a technical issue. PERIOD!
CCN was a little over the top and should not have approached it in that manner. IMO
DeltaNine is in Northern AZ and heading back as we speak. He will make the statement.

de-criminalization is a great idea But don't be fooled. there is another word for this. it is still prohibition. they are systematically removing our right(s) to make our own decision(s). e.g., you now need a licence to get high/grow plants. please all, think about that. pollitically incorrect rant over.
