I get that, I like cheap coins too.  But why is the CCN coin dev approaching the issue in such a juvenile way?  After that post I would seriously consider distancing myself from these guys.  I don't think they are on the same page, but salty about CANN success.  You can see it in the way the talk about CANN to the BC guys.

I've been impressed with CCN up to this point, your technical skills speak for themselves, but nerds that can code are a dime a dozen.  maybe its time we stop pretending that CANN and CCN have some bright future together and recognize that CCN is just another altcoin trying to align themselves with CANN, because let's face it CANN is the real deal.  Hell, it seems MaryJaneCoin has much more interest than CCN...

i think you guys are missing the point....it's an issue, has nothing to do with "wanting cheap coins" and it's not a CCN vs. CANN, who is better sort of thing.

If there's a technical glitch in the wallet, it needs to be addressed.  Calling for the CANN coders or requesting that they reach out to the CCN guys is a good thing.  Why the animosity towards CCN?

Well it's problem of some people who mix up CANN and CCN adresses, not a coin, otherwise you will need to make a hardfork with every s**t coin which took the same first letter. SilkCoin has the same letter as BC and they don't think about hardfork.

---
English alphabet consists of 26 letters; the main task: to count all alt coins which share the same letter. Post it here, they need hardfork asap  Shocked Shocked Shocked

perhaps, but clearly that was not the intent.....if there's a glitch, there's a glitch.

I'm sure the CCN guys have the best of intentions and have tried reaching out to CANN coders without having to come to a public forum in order to do so.  The problem is, no response, and no one other than perhaps a very BUSY Delta9 knows who the nerdy-coders are --- i don't know, just sayin'.

Anyway, there's A LOT of activity going on with CANN this weekend, there's a lot of eyes focused on the exchanges trying to ride the waves up and down, so anyone watching will surely react to any news -- positive or negative, so go with the flow if you're a day-trader.

This was not a ploy to "get cheap coins".
You guys really need to lighten up -- sheesh!

I sent 1 CCN to an address from my CANN wallet.  The transactions has 19 confirmations but I never received the transfer in my CANN wallet.

Same goes with my transaction from CANN wallet to CCN wallet.  I could NOT send coins between wallets.

Of course you can't send coins between separate blockchains.

Then what is the "problem" that the CCN dev is talking about.  Is it just the fact that the wallet wont stop you from sending your CCN to a CANN address, and vice versa, like it does if you try using a DOGE or BC address???

----

I knew that you couldn't, but that sure seemed to be what was suggested.  I just had to try it myself and confirm, even though it would make no sense that it could be sent to one blockchain and received on an totally different chain.

The problem was big enough to run right over to the CANN forum and let the world know, but not important enough to warrant a post on the CCN forum.  Maybe it wasn't intended to be FUD but thats whats going on here.  I would advise someone take the keyboard from whoever is controlling CCN's account.

I think CANN team revisits partnerships with CCN again, as they did it in past.

I respect the work CCN had done, technically they seem to be sound.  I agree that future collaboration could be beneficial to both coins but a reasonable relationship needs to be maintained.  How this "problem" was escalated to warrant a public post when at most it maybe deserves a private conversation is beyond me.  At best it's a laps of judgement and at worst it's and attempt at manipulation (either price or for collaboration).  This doesn't inspire my trust and makes me question the motives of CCN.  While it is ok to have different goals and be working towards the same dream, we need to be mindful of how our words can influence the projects we are working on, or hope to work on someday.

Months back I accidentally sent some BTC to my Premine wallet because they shared the same base code and the coins got stuck. Thankfully Busoni at Poloniex figured out a way to retrieve them, but never once did I blame the devs of Premine, at the end of the day it was my mistake for not being careful.
