There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Damn, I'm all tapped out right now but those prices look pretty good.  I wouldn't mind adding another 5970 to my gaming system.

Well I will be placing these on Ebay shortly if I do not receive any takers here.

funny thing is that prices fluctuate.. I ask what I ask, and even put or best offer up.  There is nothing wrong with that.

I have put these on ebay and will see what happens now.

By the way  if you dont like my prices, why not make an offer? I mean you do know what obo means dont you?

Sounds like you are a man who knows what he wants.  Unfortunately the 5970's are selling higher than that just about everywhere.  So good luck with your purchase Smiley

I'll pay $180 (which would include shipping) for the 5870 via paypal.  Include confirmation of delivery if you're concerned about being scammed.  I'd want a 24hr return policy (minus shipping costs) upon delivery confirmation (included as a note in the paypal payment).

But it looks like they're already listed on eBay:

Looks to me like he sold them on eBay.... kinda around, uh, the price I thought they were worth:

http://www.ebay.com/csc/eviltt/m.html?_ipg=25&_from=&_nkw=&_armrs=1&LH_Complete=1&rt=nc

$375 for the 5970, minus the 9% electronics eBay fee, cleared just over $340.  $174.50 for the 5870, cleared $158.. shame, my offer was much better

oh, wait, I forgot the $10 profit or so on the shipping.   Wink   well, I guess maybe you have to drive some distance to ship it.... anyway, that'd still be like $350 and $168
