As a secondary project to PoSA we are continuing development of CLOAK services:
The following three options are the next steps after CloakTrade.
We want the community to decide which path to take as a priority (we can and will make them all).
1. CloakDocs: Encrypted Document Sending
Safely transfer documents p2p in the knowledge they are kept away from prying eyes.
2.CloakChat: Encrypted Chatrooms and Messaging Service
Talk with other Cloakers, keeping your discussions private and secure.
3. CloakMarket: Decentralized p2p Marketplace
The worlds first Peer to Peer Decentralized Marketplace, where you can list goods/services for cloak. There will be NO centralized service for storing listings. These listings will propagate amongst the wallet holders. It will also include reputation system tied to the address that wants to receive payments for goods or services. You could think of it as a decentralized ebay. |

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

CloakMarket all the way!  Early in the coins life, i believe this will help it the most. Eventually, documents and chat would be nice. But i think the market would be the best thing for it while it's still in its infancy. |

Does this really need a vote? If anything, we should be voting on the final name for Proof of Stake Anonymous. I saw a recommendation for Proof of Cloak or Proof of Cloaked Stake. This feature should most definitely be branded with the coin name ala DarkSend to DarkCoin.

It sounds like the first two would be much easier to do than the market and I think both would be very useful to have before the market. Secure communications between buyer/sellers would be a prerequisite for the market IMHO.

That is a good point actually. I think the market is more important because then I don't need to trust exchanges at all. I'd rather remove that risk first and then wait a week for secure communication. There are millions of other forms of that available right now outside of this coin. I can't get that decentralized market anywhere else. |

might need chat and doc send FIRST in order to better facilitate an open market? isn't a market just those 2 things anyways, with a 3rd thing
while i do vote for the market, should we not consider say, cloakchat an important stepping stone to the market? also, chat could be implemented alot quicker i'm sure.
