Hi guys!

Newbie miner here, just got my first miner which is the Antminer S1 (dual blade).

My problem is very basic, I just can't make it get online.

When I connect the miner to my laptop directly, I can configure it no problems and everything works.

However, when I connect it to the router, I can't log into the Antminer config browser "site".

The lights are working and so is the fan (when I connect it to the router)

Help would be very much appreciated as this is doing my head in Smiley

Thanks in advance guys, I'm hoping someone here can give me a hand here.

Have a nice day Smiley

are you mining with a cat 5 hard wire or wi fi  as wi fi sucks.

notice it ends in .195  that is the miners name it must not be the same as any other item on your network

notice the (0) before the .195   you may have (1) not (0)  must match your router  at that number is for your router

Hi, Let me see if I can assist you.  Smiley

Antminer S1 Units do not need to be connected to a computer. They are standalone miners.
No USB connection required what so ever. Can you please clarify on what you said regarding "When I
connect the miner to my laptop directly, I can configure it no problems and everything works."

How are you connecting your miner to your laptop? Please clarify so I can assist you.

Take an ethernet cord and plug one of the ends into the Antminer S1. Plug the other end of the Ethernet cable into your router.
Make sure to properly configure your computer to be on the same subnet as the miners. The default IP address for the Antminer S1
Units are 192.168.1.99

This video might be of some assistance to you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=akw9GAeIH5k

I hope I was able to help Smiley

You should probably start a new thread for your issue, rather than 'piggy-back' on another person's one.
If you can access your S1 through wi-fi, you can go to the network configuration and find out what the WAN setting is, change it for a static IP address in the range supported by your router (for example if your router is at 192.168.2.1 and supports an address range of 192.168.2.2 - 192.168.2.50, you should set your WAN to something like 192.168.2.49, ensuring that '49' is not used by any other device on your home network. (If your router supports 'IP reservation', you should assign that IP address to your Antminer S1). Write down the fixed IP address that you set your S1 WAN to, plug a LAN cable connected to your home network into the RJ-45 socket on the S1, reboot your S1 and use the new WAN address to login to the web interface.  Check the mining status (takes a minute or 2 to start mining) to ensure that all is working to your satisfaction.

Cheers
