There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

are you permining?

I am 100% against preMining.  The three official pools are testing with the source to make sure everything works with the launch dev.  Everything will be reset for launch.

If you launch with one of the official pools you know mining will work out of the gate.

http://chainz.cryptoid.info/ (Will be Explorer and Rich list... Upon launch... everything will be verifiable)

Its all good... I don't blame anyone for freaking out. We have all been burned so many times we don't trust our own shadow.

Hopefully I can start a new trend.  No Premine, No IPO, No Large Blocks at front... My real name listed on website: www.judgecoin.com

Lets take our time and build this coin right!

WHY http://judge.chickenstrips.net
1MH?
Next Network Block   562    (Current: 561)>> Huh Huh Huh Huh Huh

It's because I'm testing, we are going to wipe the blockchain and start over before the launch.  It says right at the top of the pool what's going on.

If you look at all the fail launches this week, with Wicked coin and square coin etc, those could have all been avoided with just having some pools TEST a bit.  It's getting to the point in this industry where guys are just dumping crap out there without the decency to even try it themselves.  We want this launch to go off without a hitch, and it should.

I am very thankful to Chickenstrips, poolto.be, and suchpool for their support in testing before launch.  Thank You Smiley

I like what I see but could the PoW phase be extended?
I'm concerned that with such a short PoW the mining will be dominated by large hire rigs keeping the bulk of coins in the hands of a few. This will limit the size of the community and give those few a very good reason to pump & dump.

My thought is that large hire rigs will not be mining Judge Coin.  I am not promising any of the popular buzz words and I have no permanent dev at this point.  The price should not be that high.  Obviously there will be some dumping to exchanges.  Actually I think some dumping is healthy as it will allow people to purchase the coin as an investment.

Hey. First I wanted to say thanks for sticking with the thread, the idea and answering questions. I appreciated your honesty a few pages back and I agree if you are willing to put your BTC (skin) into the game it's worth sticking around and see what happens. I will probably even mine some of your coin which I would never do with most OP types.

Second, just a word of advice. The Chinese *are* going mine the ever living shit out of your coin first chance from genesis block. They will hit it with dozens of GH/S (Not MH/S), and they will cause all kinds of f'ing problems for you. They mine every new coin no matter what it is or what algorithm.

Please: Have the coder ready and on board to fix any issues with the block chain if you don't know how yourself.

Also and just throwing this out there. Try to get some assurances from the large exchanges that they will not list your coin until you are ready. Can't dump them if they can't sell them, and thus no point to mine them for the dump. Just an idea.

Anyway good luck on your launch.

What a novel concept in the cryptoworld today. Testing before production....

Think again dev,

Big farms=big dumps

Big dump = lower price that EVERYONE has access too = fair distribution

More people have access to exchange than to big mining gear

And then lowest price 0.00000001 and no more miners = Dead coin. No more network.

Also just a thought, but if limiting the hashrate spreads among new coins, a captcha should be required to create a mining account on the hashrate-limiting pools, otherwise large farms will just automatize the creations of lots of accounts xD

But it does make controlling the farms in China/Russia/India a little easier to control. If you limit at the few selected pools, those pools can now be protected at the network level. Newer networking kit has GeoIP location enabled Access Control Lists. You can simple *block* China. Smiley

Nothing is foolproof, just like computer security. But if you make so many layers of shit for them, they will just move on to softer targets.
