It's today, Friday June 27th, correct?

Anyone know what time it will be conducted - during what hours?

Me too. It could be bad for prices if the BTC is sold at a significant discount, because the buyer could immediately turn a profit by dumping them onto the open market. We could very possibly see some big market manipulation in the few days to come.

hmm, i don't think like that
they will calculate that recent buy order in market can't accomodate all BTC from auction
if they dump immediately, BTC prices will crash in short time and maybe BTC prices is below their "auction price"
it makes them lose, so i think they will wait (and maybe push) BTC prices Grin
and make profit in better price than now

From the website:

On Monday, June 30, 2014, by 5:00 PM EDT, the USMS will notify the winning bidder/bidders that their bid/bids has/have been selected.

We won't know anything before then.  Chances are, we won't know anything unless and until one of the (winning or losing) bidders makes an announcement.
