Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

U don't understand because u don't know how timing works.

Yeah, I was wrong, they can't work on this before feathercoin. Cheesy

Good catch.

All those commits are from the Bitcoin dev team and were made before Deepcoin was started.

Deepcoin is what's termed a “full fork” of Bitcoin, one which includes the prior commit history of the repository, hence the 4000-odd commits.

Many devs strip off this history in a misconceived attempt to ... well, I don't know why to be honest. It's one of those ludicrous superstitions that typically develops amongst people with a relatively weak grasp of technology. It's a rather quaint notion that it somehow helps to mask the fact that they've copied a 2-year old codebase and royally mucked about with it. Experienced pros such as Peter know better, Peter has nothing to hide and making a full fork means that any fixes or enhancements to Bitcoin that are made after Deepcoin was forked can be straightforwardly (usually) embraced by a “merge” (kind of opposite of fork), so Deepcoin gets to nom, for free, all the good stuff produced the upstream Bitcoin devs for as long as the two codebases remain usefully common.

Cheers,

Graham

It seems that deepcoin is too deep to comprehend. A lot of potential. Both at succeeding and failing at extreme end.

It could all fail when developer finally come around and say "This coin is just an experiment. Thank you for mining."

Because I don't see what he made, new pool is not added to the home page. A flow is ultimately a backwater in the pool!

I watched a lot of COIN. Those who laugh others die COINS, they laugh at themselves in the end.

I bet it wont be popular. and why the hashrate doubled in a couple of hours, did the dev logged in and went offline Smiley Jackpot diff decreased and good for mining now. Bitpopcoin can be mined its new too and dev cares about coin and he is not newbe user... I wasted too much time and lost Money in this kind of coins, meaningless hopes beacuse of low net hashrates. this coin gives nothing new, only coins name a bit good but this coin is orphan... I can try with one rig a few days later when net hashrate decrease below 500 mhs

for example I spent 15 days in ekrona coin and mined 10.000 coins. because of dev, after one week I stopped mining, I can mine 10.000 coins in 1 day. always same, if a dev inactive for one week and more, he never comes back and coin dies...
