The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

I was also pretty fast with 15 views in thread and mined around 50 rejects and orphans having fiber optic also. So ping between the node and the miner is pretty important.

It is VERY important. I had no luck many times from Dec 2013 with new coins.
New provider is very good. I very like it.

and if some good coins falls into your wallets for being earliest adopter.. its fine

edit: i noticed lately for some coin launches, multipools are jumping on coins too.. not only early adopters.
and you are quicker than them sometimes Wink

well not much of a difference, your secret is that you are here 1 sec after launch and maybe you sync in 1 sec too because of ramdisk, i don't think is the ping my problem, 20ms is good enough

btw what the best free utility for ramdisk, i want to try it

Believe me it is about ping. I have 5ms to google but probably a lot more to the seednode of the coin. That is what really matters, and mostly it is about luck. If your physical location is closer to the node your ping is less. I started mining when 10 blocks were mined on network and got only orphans and rejects

Maybe. I dunno. Just started my miner and saw blocks incoming.
I'm using Primo Ramdisk it's not free but you can try Qsoft Ramdisk or other free.
