Good on you for the above demur. There are times when I wonder about the similarity - not in content and opinions, but an underlying similarity of style (if you will) - between Bitcointalk and the following forum:

Free Republic

Different scopes, different agenda, different favourite surmises (undoubtedly), but still...

[And just to let everyone know, the above isn't a thinly-disguised putdown. I'm actually a member at the Free Republic, although I have let my membership go dormant because I had to get out of politics-watching entirely. I still lurk there before my beddy-bye to see what's going on.]

Thanks for the link. I left a comment - whose first part vouched for you - but it has yet to be approved. I take the tack that cryptocurrency is like any other information technology in its early stages: it seems dodgy, disreputable or overly complicated because the natural market at the moment is (mostly amateur) boffins. I urged skeptics to sit back and wait for crypto to come to them, as has been the case for the smartphone, Internet apps and even the personal computer itself.

My variant of the current "Evangelist 2.0" line...yes, crypto is dodgy in places, but that's because it's new and as yet unseasoned. Smiley

You made some very valid points, something I wish that 'Guy' would have done. Smiley

Apparently blockchain.info is open source.  Someone has suggested doing a campaign for funds on Startjoin (https://www.startjoin.com/).

Might be a good idea to do some fundraisers on there for a few other things too e.g. android wallet.  I'm not sure how much it would cost to get these things done so if anyone else knows please say.

Same with me. I really do not care if people find out who I am. Nothing interesting to find by doxing me.

Also a status update for marketplace.  Marketplace should be available to use within the next 24 to 48 hours. Mostly need to have some people test it and fix some small bugs.  For the time being to use marketplace you will need to have a IRC account registered with NickServ to make purchases and sell stuff. Once you register with nickserv and you get a deposit address from irc bot, you will be able to make purchases directly from the marketplace.

why  britcoin low price  Huh

You cannot expect a long linear increase in price. It is normal that there is some oscillation, and I am sure that the price will rise soon again Wink
