I noticed a section called "resourceful coins", how is that defined?  also, if purposeful coins is not part of that definition would you consider having a section for 'purpose coins' -- coins created with a specific purpose, outside of itself, in mind?

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Resourceful coins are coins that I was able to find links for everything that is displayed in the database. They have a working website, blockchain, source code, mining pool if in pow still, exchanges and faucets.

For a 'Purpose' category I would have to go back through each coin and see what it was created for which would take me a month or two by myself. A smaller task though would be only categorizing just the resourceful coins into a purpose category as those would be the coins worth checking out.

I like your site and I often use it to get information about coins. But you should really work on the user experience and design matters. It is really old style and not pretty user friendly. Hope to see some UI improvements near future  Wink

Hello Tyz, glad you like the site. Can you tell me what you would like to see added and what isn't user friendly?

I really like this service.
Can you add a faucet for DASH?

For a new faucet I would need a preloaded blockchain for the wallet and for someone to sponsor it.

CryptoDatabase, EMC2 would be interested in sponsoring a faucet for EMC2, what would we need to do to have this begin?

For EMC2 you would just have to send some EMC2 to EgEbUFJRGDtSbaffrvrsSiVpmqgV1eDYJM and let me know the payout rate you would like per hour.

The EMC2 balance for Dragon Knight has 5657 EMC2 left.

Great, thanks for update, the board approved 20K going to each endeavor (faucet and Dragon), so I sent 40K to the address you indicated.
The hourly faucet drip rate would be no more than 20 EMC2 per hr.

EMC2   40000.0000000   EgEbUFJRGDtSbaffrvrsSiVpmqgV1eDYJM   2015-04-21 11:55:08   b1d2cfb5461bb9d17594594cffdb757f22f311c93e5946cabdc01d6a1e8244cc

It has been received, thanks. It will be a couple hours before I can start on adding the faucet as my wifes mother died last night and I have to take care of some things first.

I'm very sorry to hear about your wife's mother's passing.

As for the project, of course they could wait as long as you wish, I understand completely.

One hour ago the following article was published:

GOLDPIECES+HYPER+CRYPTODATABASE+PICISI = HIGH-TECH FUN
http://www.crowdfundingpr.org/goldpieceshypercryptodatabasepicisi-high-tech-fun/

excerpt:

"...  the developer of HYPER, the #1 purpose CC for gaming, considered stepping in to rescue the currency.  HF’s strategic rescue plan is a model for CC industry pros to follow.

His plan marshaled various resources on behalf of GP such that the currency could be literally, financially, and socially  placed on a whole new path to success.  The multi-pronged plan started with the announcement of the rescue plan (aka community takeover), which was followed by an injection of capital,  immediate integration and adoption of GP into established games, a sea of organized publicity, a digital currency coding fork, and a brand new announcement thread at bitcointalk.com.  The reorganization plan was well received, to the extent of a triple digit bounce.

Let’s take a closer look at some of the work that is going into the rescue.
...."

Please support HYPER, GoldPieces, CryptoDatabase, and/or PICISI with your comment at the bottom of the article.

Quick mini update on PICISI:

Since we can't seem to attract the right people to add to PICISI admin team, I've rewritten the plan yet again to start with the human resources currently available, meaning we will start smaller and slower.  The site should be in alpha testing in a week once that is complete we will announce the currency launch date.

After alpha testing is complete, the site will be in beta testing.  Beta testing will involve real activities, limited tools, and discounted rates for a limited time.
