I feel like i'm a slave to society... how do you feel?

To be a robot with no emotions and work all day, act "normal", and don t question anything. Do what you are told without thinking about it, don t dropout of school, and get married later in life for no reason besides that it is "normal" and that government wants to rule over you.


I ******* hate that ****. It is true! We are born into a system to die within the system? Damn I hate it. I need a job that allows me to travel or do something good. Are there any out there? I want to travel the world in an airplane or by sea or something. Sometimes I'm afraid to take that chance but I know it will be well worth it. I don't want to be a hermit crab hiding in society the rest of my life! I want to get a life! This society is ****. Making us do the work as slaves. No need to hide anything. We are slaves to the one who made the dollar bill or invented the monetary system. What if people would of never invented the dollar bill? Would there be less crime? Less greed? More loving with ourselves??? Money truly is the root of all evil. After all, it is a piece of paper that really is ****. Please leave your reply to this. I would like to hear it. I guess people are so ignorant and fearful to realize or get out of this ****. They're afraid to be without money...

Haha, thanks for your advise. i will . To be honest i wanted to get others input on how they felt about the economy and the United States. what i wrote is to get others to agree or disagree in how happy people really are.

I think one of the biggest prioties in life should be to work in something you enjoy. Too many people work for money and end up stress. Sure do that, but make sure you're at least to some extant enjoying the day in day out (e.g. co-workers).

It's one of the reasons I'm so reluctant to go back to a day job programming and enjoy using my time to work on business etc.

I am not from US but I know exactly what you mean when people around you put too much pressure that you should be like what they want you to be and that you should do what others are greatly doing or else you will be nothing but a trash. I used to live with my grandparets and I felt like every movement I have to do has to be approved by them or if not I'll be suffering because I'm doing somethin wrong. I had to seperate and live on my own, as a teen before I know it was hard but I know that I have never ever been happy in my whole life to libe my life as my own without constantly asking for approval to anyone. If you feel like that yourself you just need to live a different life. If you keep subjecting to what society wants then you will forever be locked up so be a man and start living your own life. Stop whining ang start doing something to change that.

I feel estranged from society, because I don't fit in their sheep manners.


Won't vote for corrupt politicians, won't date easy girls, won't smoke or do drugs, won't go out into night clubs and drink myself to death.

Love to think, to read, to discover things, to travel. Have million hobbies and plans to improve myself.

Somedays I feel like Nikola Tesla.   But I'm not naive like he was. I'm a pretty dangerous MF when angry.

All in all, I like being myself.

No. You want such a job. You don't need anything, nor are you entitled to anything. Humans are just animals with the odd property of being (sometimes) intelligent, and have no fundamental right to exist other than what they can justify through their labour.

You are not made to work as a slave, and you insult all slaves past and present by comparing yourself to them. You get paid to work, and are free to quit and find another means of earning a living. The fact that a living must be earned instead of gotten freely does not make you a slave.

What if people would of never invented the dollar bill?

They would be living in a pre-industrial agrarian society with a life expectancy of 30. Specialisation of labour requires money. Why would anyone become a teacher or a doctor if they didn't get paid for it? Without money, everyone's a farmer without even machines to help them. If you think that's better than civilisation, then quit your job and start your own farm to feed yourself. Don't let "society" stop you.

Does that mean you have never experienced actual slavery as people are now experiencing it in South Asia? In that case, you should go there, if you think slaves there are living the good life. Otherwise, quit being a whiny crybaby.

Why your the third to say i'm whining .  Truly you  feel the pressure from society. I was speaking in a metaphoric manner not literally as a slave but it almost feels this way.. think about it. If your job was to dig ditches everyday so you could eat and live normal you wouldn't live long. My job takes major physical and high mental capability's, (commercial Painter) When i get home i just want to sleep. It takes me a week to make 700.00$ but i can spend that in 2 days....society sucks because in order for me to make more money and have a different job i must pay for education and not only go to school but work at the same time... its just impossible for me. I can say i'm not sad but i do feel like i suffer to be comfortable.

Truly you  feel the pressure from society.

The pressure is not from society, it is from nature. All living creatures must expend effort to survive. To seek food. To avoid danger. Nothing can live without continual effort, not even humans. This is the basic reality of existence. Do you deny reality?

I can spend that in 2 seconds. So what? Just because you can do something doesn't mean that you should. Nothing in society requires you to spend so much, and you have a decent income. If you're trying to live beyond your means and suffering as a result, it's your own fault.

Not all things are possible for all people. But I suspect that in your case, it is possible. If you didn't spend a week's pay in 2 days, you could save your money until you have enough to go to school without working at the same time. I've done it. Lots of people have done it. It's not in any way impossible. If you're unwilling or unable to accomplish that, don't blame society.

You've no right to feel otherwise. Comfort must be earned through effort like anything else.

i think its for normal people which don't want to take any risk in their life, because if they want to make change with their life, they will have a dream for what they want to reach in future and trying to reach with anything possible they can, no matter what will happen, they still get doin what they want.

its not wrong to be like that, make a normal life, but did we not feel to be boring with this? i mean, there is no other challenge in our life and we can not see that in out there many thing waiting for us to get. i understand what your feeling and i am trying to give advice as i can. as you know, my life is simply like you, but i don't want to be stuck in this situation. i'd rather to struggle with my life and don't think too much anything people said around me, i just accepet what they said and do the necessary thing that i should do and after that, i am back with my life to reach my dream for future.

i don't want to be like this for the rest of my life, and i want to change it while i still breath and i know that i really capable with this. i only hope that i am not giving up before i can reach what i want. so never give up for what you want and still continue even if its really hard, but just believe there is still a way to us to get the way out of the problem.

 You already know the answer to that question.  We say that because our parents said that to us - we are a product of our society.  If you complain about something that afflicts most people, you're a whiner.  We all have to suffer slavery and we all know there is no way out so we don't want to hear anyone discuss it.  Imagine you are running a marathon and the moron beside you is complaining about how tough the hill is, how thin the air seems, his shoes suck and now his how his feet hurt, his back aches and he wishes he had done something else with his life...

Most people don't have much in the way of disposable income.  Make a budget and stick to it.  Find areas in your life where you can reduce your expenses and avoid borrowing.
Guys I work with complain about their phone bill but they have lumped two cell phones (on a purchase plan), their landline and their TV into the same bill to "save" %15   Their bills are nearly $300 per month.  I laugh when they tell me their going to drop their landline to save some money (because that's about $19-$30 per month of the total bill).  Nobody needs that much TV!!  Very few need 4 Gigs of mobile internet.  They already bought their first house and on top of that, they went out and bought a brand new vehicle - and they pay $500 per month for that... it doesn't take long to spend your salary on those things we perceive as "needs" that really aren't needs at all.  This is the lifestyle they bought into and they are now fully enslaved.

i find that having little or no connections into the matrix made my life much happier. im not chasing money - i chase freedom, its hard to accomplish sometimes but is possible. there are ways to be aware of the lizard system, be part of it so to speak, but not to feed it. basically all credit is cabal and therefore is lack of freedom. the more credit (debt) you're under, the more dependant on the system you become.. the fear is the mind killer. appreciation of the current moment brings peace and quietens the ego. spiritual growth is the opposite to materilistic self gain. healthy lifestyle brings forth positive existence in this physical realm..

Just find a job that you will be happy. Don't make excuses for not making your dream come true. The truth is your life is defend on what you will do. I enjoy my life because of my family and friends.

It's definitely difficult to get out of the system, but it's not impossible.

In fact many have already succeeded in living their lives not slaving 9-5, travelling all they want and doing what they love most to support their lifestyle.

Even Lenin said - people living in a society can not be free from society. Every day we do what we have to do our society sets standards. Society forces us to marry and have children at a certain age. If you do Thu something wrong, you immediately condemn all. It is very unpleasant. But even more unpleasant to live knowing that you are a slave. I most often come to mind these thoughts, but I do anything I can do
