Ordered myself a Raspberry Pi today , when I get it I'm gonna test it out see how it does mining, see if a farm will be worth it or not.

I think OP means to connect a GPU or FGPA to it. Mining on it's own processor would of course be a waste of time and money and silicone! |

I plan to use mine for xbmc. But I could not see why it could not be a low powered controller for fpga miners it likes python.

Don't forget that the memory sits right on top of the processor. One or both could easily burn out quickly.

It might be nice as a "command + control server" for FPGAs or a small in-house pool, I doubt there's any use as dedicated miner though.

Yes, that was my plan, might look into using it for remote reboot of rigs aswell |

You cant, unless there is some sort of crazy usb to pci-e device =) I'm pretty sure the use for these with mining would be as a host for FPGAs or maybe to run monitoring on a farm. You could probably also run P2Pool on this if you wanted to.
