Very cool (pun intended).  Smiley
I will look into the Tonga.  Glad to hear AMD has some fast & efficient stuff coming.
I wonder about the cost, because that is another nice thing about the 750...

edit: I looked into Tonga and I wouldn't get too excited about it.
from: http://www.extremetech.com/gaming/185823-gpu-rumor-mill-leaked-shots-of-gtx-880-surface-point-to-8gb-of-ram-while-amd-plans-august-update

"... Tonga could wind up offering 5% to 10% better performance than the older R9 280 and R9 280X cards ..."

A 750Ti is even weaker than a 650Ti Boost. Still it's way ahead in mining thanks to compute 5.0.
What they are talking about there is gaming performance. Compute performance is a whole other thing. Even if it would only offer a 10% performance boost it's still a better way to go if the energy consumption will be decent.

If it costs $299 you could get two 750Ti's for that much coin.

what exactly are you guys even mining?

Isn't it really profitable to mine new coins then dump when they hit exchange?

You people who have to pay much for electricity, have you tried extreme undervolting these cards? I tried this briefly on a single r9 290 setup, pulling just 229 watts from wall under mining (55 watts idle). The performance hit wasn't too bad (something like 30% decrease of performance for 100% decrease in power consumption):

It's not going to be more than 229$ but probably less than that. The problem with 750Ti's is that you still cant mine a lot of stuff and you so dependant on 2-3 developers. You will be missing all the good opportunities on new algos. It's almost funny to see how all those 750Ti owners are ass kissing Christian over there  Grin

It would be great to see more dev's for nvidia. My 750's have ran cooler, less power, cost less and more reliably than my AMD cards.

If you (or anyone) can make it really profitable then you can:

A) buy my farm  (look at my earlier posts to find it)
B) Manage my farm and we can split profits

Post here or PM me and let me know.

What about XMR mining? 3x as profitable as other coins.

yes it still is, but you neeed patience, on some coin, don't dump them asap

the good thing about instamining is that you don't need a big farm, one rig is more than enough, but you need to be fast at launch
