Halo All!  This thread is maybe fun but I think it's important. I don't like trolls, like all of us. If thread is not self moderated, we're often forced to see trolls spaming bulls^it about everything. Often on that coin ABC is shit, won't go anywhere; ABC = scam, sell coins, dev =s^it, coin = s^it etc. WITH NO REASON. Only to cause panic; to disturb and lie etc. making THRASH at forum. I know there's a "ignore" button, but I wonder if there's any chance to permanently BAN him for his disturbing this great forum  But permanent bans don't get rid of trolls, it just encourages them to create a new account and continue trolling. I think the ignore button and not responding to trollishness is the best solution long-term. You're right but ignore is not solving problem. And now I think MODERATOR should really ban his because he posted TRUST with FAKE accusations, look:

Please, ban SxC and users who seem to be him or are affiliated with him.
An ignore feature doesn't automatically make terrorists disappear.
This isn't a problem that will take care of itself.
It is our responsibility to have him eliminated.
He's not a terrorist, just an annoying user. If all of you ignore him, none of you that dislike him will see his posts. You could try contacting BadBear, malevolent or other Global mods and explain the situation. |

Fake/bad/false Trust is the norm. I have quite a bit. No ban needed as he will continue to make accounts. Ignore is your best bet and make self moderated threads. Ban him today and who will be tomorrow? Will you ban books or music next? |

The whole trust system is unmoderated, and if you are not on the default trust list, your trust feedback is hidden by default and makes little impact. You may check the "Untrusted feedback" on Badbear ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=41911) for some examples of fake trust.  |

Heres is some extra info These other accounts that he has scammed coins with from other users in bad trades. Theres probably more but these are the most obvious ones "NicolaUK" ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=212427) and related thread about his scamming: WARNING: Do NOT trade with NicolaUK...he is scammer and as "Jeff6475" ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=190663) attempted to scam here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=400733.0 he was already on my ignore list, and i paid little attention to him, but his spamming in threads is so annoying and others replying to him, i mentioned about the ignore feature. then he decided to place some silly negative trust, only reason i noticed these other accounts of his. Who knows how many accounts he uses here, i just add them to the ignore list as i notice them but be aware not just a troll and liar but a thief/scammer as well. |

Theres probably more but these are the most obvious ones They don't ban scammers either, but I think you can get banned or at least have feedback removed for spaming the trust system. Trust spam isn't allowed. If I see anyone posting dozens of fake trust ratings (from one account or many alt accounts), I will delete all of their ratings. But Inaba is hiring multiple people to create these ratings. It is impossible for me to determine whether these ratings are "real" or not, so I'm not going to delete them. (Obviously all negative ratings are very likely to be fake, but I'm not going to guess about this.)
