Hello, well since I havent been on for a total of 5 hours yet i cant post anywhere but this section,

I have the bitcoin-qt client downloaded on ubuntu however when i try to set encryption or change any other option for that matte as soon as i hit apply or ok the client crashes

is there any explanation to this?

Appreciate all feedback and thanks in advance to those of you that reply

I have the same problem on my windows 7 ver but it only happens when encrypting
