The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

No, that is not a valid collateral.  You can easily claim it back using social engineering.  I would suggest any altcoins or digital goods you own, and try and put those up as collateral

Welcome to the forums.

IF you are thinking about any loan you should read:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=577765.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=246874.0

That will give you enough information about how does it work over here and what you will need if you want to ask for a loan.

Good luck.

Kind regards.

Nobodies against CEX. Most people just recognize how unprofitable it is. You should set aside some money for trading. It doesn't eat your money away like CEX.

Its pretty easy to figure out. If you are using a good alt coin, then lenders will usually take 120 percent of the value. so if you wanted to borrow 1 dollar, you would have to have 1.20 in collateral. now, if you have some trust, etc, some lenders will go even, or even bag the collateral altogether, but thats after having a lot of successful transactions.

Baby steps...
