This forum is eerily quiet.

So what made you lol today? I lolled at the massive vanishing wall just now on the last down wave...and all the small transactions on gox that did its bidding. Anyone wanna speculate on what this riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma is all about?

Fine I'll talk to myself.

Yeah I know how funny was that! Well not really, but anyway I think its because they feel it's in their best interests to guide the market in an attempt to keep it orderly.

You know, give it the impression that it's following certain patterns so that later they can point back at the chart (when everyone's forgotten the walls) and say "OMG LOOK see perfect triangle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I was right.

touche.

Anyway back to the thread, so yeah did you notice the wall didn't really have a very huge effect? hardly much movement from it. I posted a thread earlier about the SMA 50 hourly coming up that needed to provide some power...did you see what happened at the crossover?

Yeah I remember the thread...I was there when you posted it!

For a second it looked like a few people were anticipating it, and there was some green...but just soon afterwards that interest died. Perhaps everyone is asleep. It's like 6am in washington atm.

So then the question becomes...what happens when they wake up? RSI is looking very interesting, and I'm a complete scrub but if I read it correctly, we could be in for trouble if we're short. Like major trouble.

Yeah its down trending to middle of the road atm...and higher lows on the prices...it doesn't have a flat top, though, although I don't think that matters too much. It could just be a strong trend up.

What's really confusing me though is ema(hr) is basically sucking fumes trying to keep afloat. It's losing positive momentum though, and there's a definite sell-off of bitcoins, if only light volume. Sigh. What are scrubs like us to do?

I watched a movie about robots once... maybe it was bicentenial man. Anyway, at one point the robot goes somewhere and there is just a whole marketplace of other robots walking around doing shopping and such, but none of them are sentinent except the main character robot. That got me thinking: I bet, I bet there are forums all over the internet just overtaken by spam bots hawking their wares to each other. People have long abandoned them but somehow the hosting is still paid for. If you search for this you will find many of them, some are even anti-spam sites. Porn bots talking to knock-off purse selling bots, "nike" shoes are also very popular. You can see how the language of the bots evolves over time in response to each other and what ever has happened to them elsewhere online.

Also, the other day/night when the big rally was going on I zoomed out on btccharts to view it from space. Then imagined what would happen if everyone dropped their walls at once and people just kept buying satoshis at ever higher prices until it went beyond whatever number the Mt Gox code could handle.

Kind of reminds me of what happened when gox was hacked...a million 0.001 orders was win for all (not really win for anyone actually).

It is interesting seeing it from a distance, though, like you point out. There's a big one worth quarter of a million at $1.15 or something...and of course the ungodly one under 0.01...lol someone wants to buy all 24 million (or whatever) bitcoins...yeah have fun playing by yourself buddy.

It's also interesting to see the little dimples where people think the next moves are going to end up. Sorry if I ruined that for them...not that it was especially encrypted or obfuscated though.

A santoshi is how many zeros?

LOL, it would be hilarious to see the BTC price graphs after an event like that.  On most graphs, 0.01 USD/BTC and 32USD/BTC would appear to be the same height compared to a 1,000,000,000,000 BTC/USD spike (which could be achieved by selling 1 Satoshi for 10,000 USD).
