This is my third time asking for assistance, any help is appreciated...
When I run a benchmark, none of my results are saved. It used to save the results about 3 or 4 versions ago normally, but now it doesn't. I have ensured that I have the proper profile selected and benchmarks checked, and I click "Save to Profile" and the "Configured Hardware" column updates with the values that were received during the benchmark....but when I close the benchmark and examine the profile in the options dialogue none of the benchmark results were actually saved.
I can run the benchmark, record the results manually, and edit the values in the profile under the options dialogue, so I'm not entirely sure why my results aren't saving. I can provide logs, but I don't really see any errors - but I also don't know what I'm looking for.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software, and this is occurring on two systems now and I'm entirely unsure why.
Also - I threw this in initially a while back, but I don't think anyone saw it (or maybe no one cared? does anyone else think this would be useful?), but I would really like a "sustained" benchmark option so that I can selectively run an algorithm until I decide to stop it. I want to be able to get up and check my watt meter during the benchmark, but I don't really have a way to look at both at the same time - especially if i'm doing a remote benchmark on a headless unit. It would also be nice if I could edit wattage values in the benchmark section.
I've identified a problem with Benchmark save. I will release version 4.3.1 soon with a correction for this.

Hi all,
Is there a way to include xmr-stak 2.x in profit mining ? I'm using an old GTX 480 to mine CryptoNight altcoins (275H/s 80W) and xmr-stak is the only GPU miner accepting this GPU so far.
I managed to add it as an external miner but I only get stats ... For example can I add multiple user managed softawares to call a dedicated coin .bat (this .bat replace config.txt and launch xmr-stak)
TIA
Right now XMR-Stak is only supported as an External Miner (although I think some users added it as Managed Software and included and use it as a Managed Miner anyway). http://www.awesomeminer.com/help/managedsoftware.aspxThe reason is that XMR-Stak requires some manual configuration and has a little more complex setup. This is the reason why I've not made it a Managed Miner or included in the profit switcher by default, because then I would have a full time job answering questions on how to get it up and running.

I've seen a bug multiple times where the Console view will flash between the currently selected miner and the previously selected one.
Please send me log file and indicate the time of the issue and also which mining software that was supposed to be launched.

Balance doesn't seem to work for zcash. I have tried configuring with various blockexplorers and the addresses work on the web but not in AM. Would be nice if this was fixed.
It works when using this Block Explorer URL, which is the default since a number of releases back: https://api.zcha.in/v2/mainnet/accounts/[address] However, if you have an older entry you may have to update it to use the above.

Error with lyra2z config mining via profit switching for miningpoolhub.
On default the generated URL is stratum+tcp://lyra2z-hub.miningpoolhub.com:17025
It's not adding the region part ie. making it stratum+tcp://europe.lyra2z-hub.miningpoolhub.com:17025
I had to manually edit the lyra2z algorithm url part from lyra2z-hub to europe.lyra2z-hub for it to work
A correction for this will soon be released.

i dont understand one thing, here is my screenshot of details about algo switch https://i.imgur.com/3Ge0cJi.png , but it keeps jumping from x17 to blake2s (that is almost end of the list), and sometimes it includes neo and equihash to the mix. As far as i understand, it should change from x17 to c11 and back, am i right? if so, what is the issue? If you go to the options, what services do you have enabled under Profit Switching? If it's only Zpool, do you have C11 enabled in your Profit Switching Profile, in Algorithms, and as an entry for Zpool under Online Services? i have zpool, minihpooluhb and nicehash enabled, all algos are enabled. In options i have profit switch thereshold, enable managed profit switching, select btc payout and make predefined pools available everywhere ticked. In your screenshot it indicates X17 on top. Was it mining X17 all the time during this 10 minute period? When you say it jumped to Blake2s, what did the last interval (in the list on the left side in your screenshot) indicate? Which pool/algorithm was on top then?

EDIT
small correction, now its mining skunk, but it is 1st on the list and changing to LBRY that is 2nd so i assume it was just some strange event that happened and thats it really

Keep in mind that you have configured a 20% threshold for the switches as well, so what is on top of the list may not always be changed to if it's not profitable enough.

I use it, yeah, the coin switching is great and there is a lot of customizability. I mainly got it for remote access monitoring. I wouldn't recommend paying for it unless you have enough rigs to make it worthwhile. And yeah you can dual mine, it uses claymores or w/e you select.

I've noticed a lot of people trying AM due to nicehash issue. These users are looking for a super simple 1 click solution to mining.
Have you thought about a simple version. It could also be a free version which mined for you at 1-2%. Still much better than NH.
Just a thought.
I know you have a LOT of things you want to do with the software, is there a list users can vote or share ideas? Are you on the zpool discord channel?

Does this software has unlimited lifetime updates per licence ?
I see: A one time cost, including free upgrades to the latest software version.
But if now for example is 1.0 and next updates is 1.1 , 1.2, 1.9... is ok, but when big update is coming like 2.0 ... will get the update ? Some softwares trick by asking new licence when change version.

I appreciate your suggestions here. I agree that there are concepts that can be simplified. However, it shouldn't be super difficult for to get started if you follow a wizard flow like this one: http://www.awesomeminer.com/help/profitswitching.aspx#profitsingleHowever, what Nicehash do better is having more predefined parameters and easier to get started when using mixed systems like nVidia + AMD + CPU and so on. If there are any specific changes that could simplify, please let me know. I like the idea of having feature voting. I was thinking of finding something similar to User Voice for it, but I've not really had the time yet.

You always get the latest version of the software for free. A customer who payed for Awesome Miner 1.0 more than 3 years ago can run the latest Awesome Miner 4.3.1 with the same license with no additional license/upgrade cost.

Awesome miner not dual mining sia after changing settings.
I initially an amd profit switching profile only mining eth using miningpoolhub. I then changed it to dual mine eth+sia and added -dcri 1 to cli in amd profile. For some reason when I start the miner it refuses to dual mine say, but when benchmarking it dual mines perfectly. I've tried restarting multiple times and also tried deleting the claymore folder so it repopulates but no luck.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks
I've attached screenshots showing this.
If you right click on the miner and select View Details you will find the profit calculations. What does this one show on the Profit Switching tab?

Hello Patrike, I would have a suggestion regarding profit switching and online services. Whatever i set in switching interval time, would it be possible that awesome miner update online services stats at a frequency of %timeset% minus 30 seconds ? For example if i set a switching time of 5 minutes, i want stats to be updated after 4mn and 30 seconds. When AM switch algorithm after 5mn of mining, the "update stat time stopwatch" of 4mn 30sec should start again... This way we would be sure it will pick the most profitable algorithm at the switching time specified !

I've been away for a minute and I'm sorry I wasn't able to assist in answering too many questions even though I was practically begging for help (irl emergency, etc.), but I want to chime in and say thank you for fixing this. It seems to be working great now!

Hi, does anybody have good ideas for matching miner IPs and miner names? Sometimes, my router resets the IPs of miners when I restart the router. Once it happens, it courses a problem that names of each machines on Awsome miner and IPs for each machine don't match. It is really time consuming to re-match the names of each machines and IPs. There should be better way than re-matching manually, but I am not smart enough to figure out.
