It's only faster in reported values on it's console.  Run it for 24hs on a pool and it will be *less* than DSTM and with wild variation in the reported hash rate.

This bug is driving me nuts .... does anyone have any ideas?

Notes:
There is exact matching hardware in this miner as some other miners without the issue.
They all have unique IP addresses.
I've tried changing the IP address of Miner 4.
I've completely uninstalled and reinstalled the Awesome Miner remote agent countless times.
I've completely removed Miner4 from Awesome miner and re-added it from scratch multiple times with different names, etc.

Still the same results.
 If I adjust any other miner or open any options menus... Miner 4 stops mining and has to be restarted.
Miner 4 won't start with the start button when this happens - I have to open its properties and click OK and then in starts again.

Please let me know if you have any thoughts.

p.s. @patrike I mentioned this bug on here a few months ago and haven't had any luck.  It has spanned multiple versions of the software - both primary and the remote agent have been updated several times with the bug never going away.

After 12 hours I'm seeing about a 3% *increase* pool side, but I'll continue running for another day or two to see if that changes.

A feature requests:

- would it be possible to add "GPU Settings" in the context menu of the selected miner? Right now, I need to flip quite a bit between "Main" and "Tools" because of this.
- in the GPU settings dialog, is it possible to add the current temperature for each GPU on the left side where it lists GPU0, GPU1, etc. ?

One of my Win10 mining machines stopped GPU mining and I went to check, to see why awesome miner didn't restart the GPU miner. Found the Claymore window in this state:

and in Awesomeminer it says Interface offline. I have a rule to reset a miner that makes no progress:

* Triggeres: Accepted (3 minutes ago) Equals 0
* Actions: Restart miner

It never gets enacted. Miner is offline for hours. Requires me to manually hit Restart button on awesomeminer. What gives?

Patrike the HTTP API coin setting is wonderful, thank you very much. I am making extensive use of it.

As another line item, can you please add the ability to create new coins via the API as well? The plugins I'm writing/hope to be distributing sorely need it.

4. I use nvidia gpu's. If I mine via dstm and ccminer in the profiles, I get errors that the rm.exe file needs reinstalling for dstm and ccminer crashes. This only happens to 1 or the rigs. Would anyone be kind enough to point me in the right direction as to how I can fix this?

Patrike answered most of your questions, but I know that DSTM needs the Visual C++ 2015 redistributable installed to work properly.  Please try this and then try DSTM again.

I've double checked on my rules and they're conservative enough to wait for progress and such. I'm not pushing the gpu's so much too. On one of my rigs which have the same settings, I can get 8hours straight of uninterrupted mining.

What is causing the restart?  Is it the lack of accepted shares after 8 minutes (I think this is a default rule?)  What algo is it mining when this happens?  What software is running when this happens?  What kind of GPUs are you using?  What kind of over/underclocks are you using?

Hi puwaha! Thank you for your inputs! I've re-inputted the defaults and the restarting happens very much less than before. I can mine now for 7hours above.

I do recall doing the update on the visual c already but will do it again for good measure. Yes, that should solve it as I recall doing all that with the other rigs.

Thank you very much for creating AM! I'm currently using it on all my 3x6 rigs now.

I would like to invest further in the software. Just wanted to confirm a few things from those who already have version beyond the free one.

1. If I upgrade, would I be able to manage all 3-6 rigs for example from 1 rig that I use as my main?
2. How do I get the most of the "Balance" page in the GUI?
3. Would more pools be added in the profile switching section later on or is this something I can do on my own via the customs pools? I understand I can mine specific coins via the customs pool as I already tried this with a few coins in the past.

Hi and thanks for your nice feedback.

1) The best deployment is to run Awesome Miner on a separate computer, but it also works fine to run it on one of your miners. Then you install Remote Agent on all other mining rigs. The single Awesome Miner instance will let you manage and monitor the mining of all your mining rigs in a single user interface

2) Please note that this feature is only about balance of public wallet addresses, not your pool current pool balance (yet). For details, please see:

3) I try to have the most popular pools as predefined, but I will never be able to include everything. You can add your own custom pools to the profit switcher as well.

4 - 5) Do you get any output if you click the Diagnostics button in Awesome Miner, or are these softwares crashing right away without any additional information? This issue is probably outside the scope of Awesome Miner. You can also find the general troubleshooting tips here:

Hi patrike! Thank you for taking time out to point me in the right direction for troubleshooting. I will check out those links and will do the diagnostics again. I did run that before but I didn't see any weird errors except for the process closing.

With regard to the ccminer for certain coins, they just close right away and seem to not open. This is during benchmarking. I will try with diagnostics then.

Does anybody know how to make AwesomeMiner work with Claymore when -mpsw is set? After I set the -mpsw option, AwesomeMiner can no longer detect the miners and keep saying "Interface offline". Thanks in advance.

I know how to create a rule to, for example, launch VNC on my host system and have it launch for a rig.  But is there a way to create a rule that will execute an application on the rig itself instead of the AM host?  I'm not seeing it unless I'm just missing it.

I have tried many names for it... both in Awesome Miner and on the network.
I also tried connecting with the netbios name as well as the IP address (and manually tried different static IP address).

I have been in IT since 1994 and I have NO idea what is going on lol

The weird thing is all of the miners are configured the same way - static IP addresses etc... and one other miner is EXACTLY the same hardware.. and ONLY this one has the problem.

I am hoping Patrike knows whats triggering the remote agent .

Jeez...I have this right now too.. So bloody annoying!  I want to clear out the hosts and create new ones.  They are f'd up!  Anyone know how to delete hosts?  Haven't found a way yet.  I was in the ConfigData.xml and found the hosts, I tried deleting them but they came back.
