Hi Patrike.

I use Hiveos + Remote Agent for Linux. On my GPU for each algorithm, overclocking is configured.
Please make awesome miner to work with acceleration of GPU from HiveOS.
I can provide for this API Key, my Rig.

Sorry for my english. I use an online translator.
Awesome Miner do support overclocking on Linux as well. The feature requires you to have an Awesome Miner license as this will unlock more features, including the GPU overclocking.

Remote Agent on Linux can overclock both AMD and nVidia GPUs. This feature is not related to HiveOS in any way.

Given the power of my RIGS too low. I am not profitable for buying a license.

A license per miner cost 2$ a month and you don´t have this money? So if you can´t pay this -> leave mining. And your mixing hiveos with awesomeminer makes no sense. Use windows or a normal linux distribution. Why should patrike unlock all for free? I don´t understand why you make things so complicated  Roll Eyes

Patrike,

can you improve the benachmark tool? So that i can make my own list of pools for the benchmark? I don´t want to benchmark 10 custom pools one after one. And maybe to add multiple configurations for the same pool ->
Example:
CPU Ryzen 3900 24 threads

I will test the same pool and same algorithm with different number of threads to find the best performane -> but i don´t want to make every test one by one.

just got the virus/trojan alert again today. and it wont allow me to run AM again.
I've sent another report to Microsoft about this. It's unfortunate that they correct the detections but then a few days later they change something and the problem is back.

especially as this is the only way I can manage my miners remotely. it is beginning to cost me money.

You do something wrong. I have no problems on all of my rigs (around 40 rigs), all work normal. Deactivate windows defender complete, if you have problems -> must be done in the registry -> i have done this at the beginning of my mining journey.

I did nothing wrong - windows keeps adding it back as a trojan. I am not deactivating windows defender completely so that my system is 100% open and vulnerable - no thanks.

This should have been resolved since earlier today. I hope all works fine now.

When this happens, have you tried to add Exclusions to allow specific processes and folders?

hello,

no one yet reported this?

i´m using Z11 with Firmware from http://to.tools/Z11-firmware-sd-image - this is originaly by chipless-mod.

now i got the issue that awesome miner shows speed in MH not kH
is there anything you could do about this?

second problem is, when send pool config via awesome miner it is configured with "_ant_pool1url=" ahead my pool settings

seems there is something strange with the FW - but maybe you have a fast fix

Make an api report and send patrike a private message. I think he can fix this.
Go to Tools -> click api report -> save this report and send it patrike.

Patrike are there any plans for more ASIC Firmwares? Like Z11? Or only focusing on BTC miner?
Thanks for helping out here.

So far it's only been for the most popular Antminers, so mainly the Bitcoin miners but also L3+ for Scrypt. Antminer Z11 is not a priority at the moment. Whatsminer will however be supported in the future.

sent you the API report with PM - could you check if it´s easy to fix or not possible? otherwise need to push FW DEV to fix

Hi,

Yes, please see my reply above (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=676942.msg57229445#msg57229445). I have a correction in the pipeline for the hashrate display. For pool changes, please try SSH instead.

SSH is not active on this FW - but thx for checking the statistic stuff

another question is braiins+ FW for S9
i using VPN to connect

the "Configure API access (via SSH) wont work - i only get "failed to execute" message
in "legacy" - "reboot via web (or SSH)" dont work
default pools gives me "Authentification failure" - tried with custom web and custom SHH credentials and also with "perform reboot and pool operations via web..."

any chance to get basic stuff working on braiins+ with Awesome miner?

Thanks for the update.

BraiinsOS uses their own way of configuring miners these days so the standard way for Awesome Miner to enable API access will unfortunately not work. You will have to look into if this can be enabled via BraiinsOS.

In general - we do support monitoring of almost any ASIC miner on the market and in most cases we also support monitoring when you run custom firmware on the ASIC miner. In terms of operations we mainly focus on supporting the default ASIC firmware and our own Awesome Miner firmware. As long as any other third party firmware keeps the compatibility with the original firmware, it will work fine. Any custom firmware that come up with their own ways of doing things will typically not be supported by Awesome Miner.

Patrike,

Any plans to implement memory/hotspot temperature monitoring so we can see it at least in Windows version? Being able to set rules on these temps would be great for those of us with 3080/3090.

Thanks for your suggestion. I will have to investigate how to get access to these readings. I know GPU-Z and HWInfo64 can show it, but I've not yet found any details in the nVidia documentation how to actually read this value.

Don´t forget AMD, it is also important on RX5x00 and RX6x00 series.

Thanks for the report. I'm not able reproduce the problem with PhoenixMiner and the benchmark. Is normal mining working fine with this miner, where it reports hashrate and power usage - but only in the case of benchmark it never shows any hashrate?

I've started to look into this. For nVidia this temperature feature isn't documented so it's a bit difficult to find out how others have resolved it. For AMD I've identified how to get Memory and Hotspot temperature on Linux and Hotspot temperature on Windows.

I know it might sound funny, but I'd try to look at hwinfo github for starters and then maybe try to contact dev and ask a question or two Smiley
