I'll do 2 btc each if you could throw in shipping to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia...

For some poorly understood reason the this region still has ppl willing to pay more for the machine than what it'll ever generate in its economic lifespan...

Perhaps because it's difficult to buy bitcoin there, so people buy miners instead?

I think horcoff won't mind me saying this. These machines are currently hashing in our datacenter, http://toom.im. We have some of the lowest rates in the industry, so if you want to keep them here and hash with us, you won't have to deal with shipping.

Hosting bitcoin miners for $65 to $80/kW/month on clean, cheap hydro power.

It appears there is a user named "horcof" (note only one 'f') who is PMing people and trying to get them to pay for these miners. I'm pretty sure horcof is a scam. The real owner should be horcoff.

SCAM ALERT Shocked

I got the following PM in reply to my offer from "horcof"

Hi,

Thanks for the offer.

Had to think long and hard on this one, at first I dismissed it as low ball offer but considering recent difficulty increases and expected returns I think its a fair offer.

My BTC address is :

1BLNFHwqSUaaMr9VmR6FGXAmbLo8WHL2ed

Ill be on and offline most of today, as soon as payment is received ill pm you the hosting login details where you can change the units over to your details.

No reason why you cant have these beasts hashing to your pay out address by close of play today.

Thanks,

horcoff

He did sign it with 2 f's

Offer still stands

What are the terms of the hosting agreement? E.g. how long is the contract, hosting rate per kw, cost to transfer ownership, cost for hosting center to pack up and ship out the miners at end of life/contract? I can't really calculate a price without that information. PM me if you can't make this information public by the terms of your agreement with the hosting center. When it comes to these data center costs, sometimes a Spondooly in the hand is worth two Spondoolies in the bush.

jtoomim has price 80-99 $ kW/mo. My contract ends very soon so it is a good time to change ownership by paying to jtoomim as escrow. Be careful of scams, check profile which sent you info (activity, spelling)! Recheck info with me + jtoomim.

I am seeking for $650 (BTC 1.85) per unit and willing to sell all at once. In case miners remain at jtoomim after sale - ready to sell even 1 for that price

S4              $1250/2000 gh = 0.625 $/gh (0.7 w/gh)

SP35           $3595/5500 gh = 0.653 $/gh in late November with unconfirmed 0.66 w/gh

My proposal  $650/1450 gh = 0.45 $/gh in 0.9 w/gh mode (or 0.65 $/gh in 0.7 w/gh mode)

My proposal  $650/1450 gh = 0.45 $/gh now with confirmed 0.8 w/gh.

Hi horcoff,

can you confirm that your units are using around 1200W each at jtoom.im's DC?

Regards.

Would you sell one for 1BTC + I cover shipping? SP gear is about the only thing I have never owned and want to play.

Or how about a 2013 Brass Casascius coin for one?
