So I managed to get my hands on 5 HYP (at overpriced TRK prices, but hey), and I'm a bit confused. This morning, the client shows weight of 2, for a network weight of 370000 or so, Reward in a monht. OK.

Now, it's showing weight of 4 (coins aged I think ?), but network weight of 7870. Reward in 2 days. With my paltry 5 HYP, I can't possibly be a tenth of a percent of the whole network ? I have 6 active connections to the network, it seems to be fine there. What happened ?
Hi Moneromoo, glad to see you here.

Folks, Moneromoo is running a Monero pool at http://moneropool.mooo.com/ (yes, unrelated to Hyperstake, I know).

Monero: the first crytocurrency to bring bank secrecy and net neutrality to the blockchain.HyperStake: pushing the limits of staking.

oddly mined a 2 HYP stake but it orphaned before confirming. I am on block 31975 is that correct or am I still way out

loads of connections though, 14

hmmm, 24 hrs now and I still only have 2 peers.

I'll try to get a DNS node started. For now you can list these all as nodes http://pastebin.com/2u9Nhadd and make sure you are using the official release

Guessing I have some HYPE mocking me. Showing 44376.904315 unconfirmed. Tried repair wallet. Still shows up as a ? in transactions with 0 of 6 confirms. pTJNweHbMWNti49b39ALoWh48pjm9x3ABh is the address it was sent to. Anything I can examine to see if it will ever hit once the network starts moving and, if not, any way to clear it so it doesn't keep teasing me?

There'sa rescan command, not sure how different from repairwallet. you might have bought in after the fork.

Is there a block explorer or something I can check? If it's going to be zero in HYPE, I'd rather just replace the wallet.dat that came with the new wallet originally to have separate addresses on TRUCK and HYPE.

We are working on getting a block explorer going. Should have one within a day or two. Post a txid and I will see if it showed up on the network or not.

Also I had a transaction not go through earlier and had to resend, to clear the previous tx I started the wallet with -salvagewallet (make sure to always backup before using this though)

Transaction ID: 9b3f1f58136bed105451caee4a78490890ac2028d182b5cf81772d1e266d5a4c

Yay or nay?

Code:

23:35:30

gettransaction 9b3f1f58136bed105451caee4a78490890ac2028d182b5cf81772d1e266d5a4c

23:35:30

No information available about transaction (code -5)

Looks like you just barely missed the fork, it went to truckcoin block 31822 and the fork was on block 31781

Awesome, even though it seems small, any help we can get moving the block chain and confirming transactions is much appreciated at this point.

hello
what about players who dont want to buy some coins ?
we can t stack anything or i dont understand all :/

This coin is pure PoS from the very beginning. No mining, only minting. You could get coins prior to launch if you had TRK. Now, either buy or pass on.

That came out a bit rude, wasn't intended that way Tongue Just a short synopsis.

bio I hope you are up and running!

I've been majorly busy all day, so I haven't yet grabbed the released wallet. That being said, the second prerelease wallet is working fine, and I'm not close enough to stake to sweat it. I'll upgrade tomorrow.

Never did figure out what went wrong for tomcat, but I sent him the client I had and it synched right up. I think he had a corrupted download.

I think you have got to be on one of the pre-release builds that I used to fork the Truckcoin chain with. The point of these were to be able to connect to TRK but to generate forked blocks.

What you need to do is download the official release linked to on the OP.  After that you will need to resync. The official release changes the version requirements and refuses truckcoin clients connections and also checkpoints the forked block so you can't get on the truck chain. This is mandatory.... continuing to try to connect to the correct chain with the wrong client is not going to do anything but waste time.

Here is a quick archive of the current block chain if you would like to use it instead of having to resync, but you still need to use the new client. https://github.com/presstab/HyperStake/releases/download/v1.0/HyperStake.Chain.7-8-14.zip

Wallet got stuck multiple times for me whilst downloading the blockchain. Restarting the client fixed it.

Same here for the most part though one time it did miraculously get unstuck after walking away for a few minutes.

This post sums up why all this bullshit is a scam

Thanks for reporting this. So far I think the problem is with X11 and that perhaps certain types of hash takes longer to check out. I am going to be doing more research into this for my next wallet update.

That looks like the TRK chain. The block number is where TRK is and HYP is not that far as far as i can see.

@Raskul, you are still on the TRK Chain... HYP is currently at block 32144. Did you download the latest client?

I am not able to have both wallets open. I saw something about changing ports but not sure how to do that.
