- 50% Cheesy

I would be hesitant to ever go by the most recent trade price.  The buy and sell support has stayed relatively stable for HYP over the last week, but there have been very small orders playing the gap (could be a bot I am not sure). Anyone that sells a few thousand HYP will run the price down to the support level, anyone that buys will buy up to the sell wall. Looking at the last trade is a bit misleading, it would be more valuable to see a weighted trade value.

Also just an FYI for everyone I have been pretty busy with work related stuff this week but have still got a few things done. I have been messing around with a completely redesigned GUI for the wallet, but this is something that would come a month or two out. Also it is nice to know that Tranz gave us a pull request on github!  Just a small addition, but still nice to know that such a well known coder gives us some attention.

Moneromooo has some awesome icons that have been sketched up and I look forward to seeing those in the next little bit as well. So things are not in any way slowing down here at HyperStake.  Full speed ahead!  Roll Eyes

Added this today, now I am going to add a button to turn S4C off and that should conclude the current round of S4C work.

I'm not sure this is a problem, as staking coins do this, but I've generated 4 orphans in a row today.  It's on a fairly small amount (200 coins). Anyone else running into this?

The network has been pretty competitive today, lots of blocks competing to stake. The more blocks competing, the more likely that your wallet will solve the kernel, thus generating a block, but unfortunately another wallet barely beat you to it and it comes out as an orphan.  I haven't had any myself today.  Make sure to use the new repair wallet button to get rid of the orphans.

Forgot about that feature. Done it, cleared all of 'em instantly. That's a nice button!

I figured it was probably just the nature of things. Just keeping you apprised.

Thats the beauty of PoS, although orphans are a bit annoying, they aren't a loss and your wallet will continue trying.

To be honest, for pure enjoyment I prefer mining. But this is more efficient and better for the bottom line.

PoW mining is a bit of fun, lets you have fun with hardware.

Sounds like fun!!  And yes I am hoping to release an updated version of the client tomorrow. Not mandatory of course, but will include all of the recent changes.

Block explorer works half the time.  Can you make it a bit smoother and remove the port as I suggested in the PM?

I usually don't have problems with the block explorer, it does need to have the script restarted every once in a while as is normal for most explorers.  Try contacting defcronyke on our irc channel with questions or problems.

Oh nothing too crazy, just the already posted commits.  I am also seeing if I can get the "getstaketx" rpc call that I have been working on into this release. Basically you would enter the txid of a stake transaction and it will tell you how much was generated and the time it took. This could be expanded to the gui later on.

NEW WALLET VERSION 1.0.4 - NOT MANDATORY

https://github.com/presstab/HyperStake/releases/tag/v1.0.4

Changes to this version of the wallet include:
- getstaketx RPC command - this returns information about the time and reward of each stake
- Stake For Charity GUI - you will now be able to enable or disable S4C from the GUI (tools->S4C)
- Stake For Charity information on the minting icon notification
- reduce the stake predictions by ten times - this seems provides a more accurate estimate
- sort transactions by date instead of confirmations (hat tip Tranz)
- add hours until next mature block starts staking to minting icon notification
- unlock wallet button (unlock for mint not yet functional)
- tweak the icon settings to look better (still not perfect)

Right now the current release is only prebuilt for windows, I will work on getting the other builds updated as well.

Just a reminder to post requests for wallet features and bug fixes here: https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/13358-wallet-feature-requests/
