Guys, I have a question about the fees of transactions

Do they go to the block finder or are they just destroyed ?

When you receive a stake does it get combined with the block that generated the stake? In my wallet I have lots of blocks about 250-500 HYP, how do I combine those into a block of 1600? Can I pick the youngest blocks and combine them into a new block of 1600?

When you receive a stake, the staking block gets destroyed, and you receive in its stead two blocks, each about half the value of the sum of the old block plus its stake. For instance, if you had a 1000 HYP block, and it staked after 12 days, the stake will be roughly 240 HYP, the new total will be 1240 HYP, so the 1000 HYP block will go and be replaced with two blocks of around 620 HYP.

You can merge them if they get too small: in coin cointrol, select those blocks (any set which you want to merge - for instance, in the example above. select these two 620 HYP blocks), then send the "after fee" value (top right of the send screen) to yourself. These blocks will disappear and be replaced by a 1240 block.

I usually merge staked blocks if the total value is less than 3000 to 4000.

CMC showing HYP to be around $0.023 per... Market is going crazy right now! Someone just pumping the coin, or what?

I doubt it... probably just natural buying...
You have to move the market 20% to buy 10 BTC...
(That said... people are also selling large amounts and taking profits).

Staking is completely unaffected by price...
But the coin hits the max payout wall of 960,000/day around Dec 1st in 6 weeks.

So on the back of an envelope...
The nominal payout rate starts declining logrithmically from 750% to about 100% next summer...
That's 300,000,000 coins next summer with daily payout of 960,000/day = 10% per month.

Intelligent stakers grow their coins along with the money supply (1000% by next summer)...
Probably more at the expense of sub-optimal stakers...
And on that basis and all the momentum we got here... HYP may still be a good value.

Yes when you start your wallet, do it from terminal or command line. "HyperStake-qt.exe -maxconnections=20"

WOW This is so advanced. I will need a tutorial for all of this. I can't wait to start staking my own bag now. I will do two block sizes for now.

HYP is advanced. Fun, but advanced. I like to think of it in term of how Andreas described bitcoin to the Canadian senate, comparing bitcoin today to the internet in 1992.  Solid technology and protocol, but not easily usable by the mainstream yet.

I think HYP has this same thing.  Overtime we will continue to improve it and it will become easier.  Grin
