Price has gone up a lot today! How many people rallied?

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Yes it looks like the bleeding has stopped for now. Hopefully this is new floor for awhile and we can get back up to where we should be, which IMO should be 3-4k right now. Time will tell as Presstab does nothing but good things. Good time to buy.

hey guy i found a small bug, not sure if its known yet.

when i use an alternative location for my datadir, with  -datadir=D:\BitCoinData, then somehow the theme template does not work. i can only use the default template.

We will look into this, thanks for reporting it!

Thats interesting. I also use this flag in linux and it works fine with the themes folder with the qt. If that helps you any sir.

@Presstab now might be a good time to ask Richie to list us on Bittrex. Worst he can say is no.
Vegas
BitTrex is really fast in de-listing coins with too low traffic. If avg daily traffic is below 0.2BTC then you get a warning and are de-listed after a week. So, adding BitTrex is only a good thing if you have constant high traffic, I have seen coins being added and within weeks gone again.

You have a good point! There's quite a few coins that comes to my mind that have come and left Bittrex.

However, we might be good for Bittrex.

silly question, if you put the themes folder in the datadir do they work?

I am excited to expand this ability. Right now it does nothing more than display information. But I am working with ssta to get full coin control functionality added to rpc, so that daemon users are not left behind.

Was the web wallet discussed also several pages back just an idea? That would be super interesting, and really be another first. AFAIK , there is no web wallet that does POS.
webwallet discussions mostly moved to slack. I should write some summaries here, though.

But merchants (as also minor investors) will only come to a predictable and more or less unfluctuating market.
Payment processors take care of the volatility. You buy with HYP, payment processors instantly convert to fiat. Merchant do not keep much crypto.

Just noticed your vanity HYP address by the way - veryyyyy nice!
Address is?

I am excited to expand this ability. Right now it does nothing more than display information. But I am working with ssta to get full coin control functionality added to rpc, so that daemon users are not left behind.
Coin control for RPC would be another first and I know a couple of user who would like it. Plus, it would help staking withouth a GUI, making remote logging and energy-efficiency better.

Monero: the first crytocurrency to bring bank secrecy and net neutrality to the blockchain.HyperStake: pushing the limits of staking.

This is Monday, this is HyperLoan time

This time, no less than FOUR winners - this is the maximum; there won't be five winners for week five.

(update: Swag should not have been accepted, because he had not been cleared of his scamming accusations - I stand corrected and added, as an exceptional measure, a fifth winner - if Swag does not send the 4K back at the end of the 30 days period, though, he will be added on the wall of shame, which will provide more visibility to his scamming reputation, so he'd better send them back anyway).
Winners are:
+2 wickedsick - pFVxQp6VhMFDgjS9kqtcPG57Qce51uKEpf
+1 denis72 - p8o4HNTBoiimkmnWSh2Cy8g326EtDuXAV1
+1 UroCEO - p65vV1RHVBMVQtAqGFBksrBipGhSuWSEkj (on IRC)
+1 Swag - pMWV9QohbMNV954p72gccGKeAGftgscRHa
+3 awangn6600

Why some +3 or +2 did not win? Because they either did not give me their address or their address was not empty (address with 0.6 or the like are OK, as these is people who thought that adding some HYP from faucet was necessary, whilst it is not).

What you, as a winner (not just a candidate) will have to do:
1. If not already done, create a dedicated address in your wallet and post it on the forum, so that anyone can track the progress. If you don't know how to do so, just ask on the forum Smiley
2 Once you have received the 4K HYP, you will start posting on HyperLoan logs about your feedback. It can be just one posts several posts tracking your increasing understanding of HyperStake, questions... and of course, everyone can post there too.
3. At the end of the 30 days, you will send the principal (4K) back to the originating address pNzkDjKNpfYsYhYZF6zL1F5UAx7KQqS48N

Happy loaning, happy stacking!

did i still eligible for this? i'm sorry, i wasn't active at the forum, so i didnt know i was chosen Sad

EDIT:
and if i still can receive this HyperLoan, heres my addy pCv59rkcA8FaF6TaSd9XQiMDp79joxZf2W, will PM you at irc to make it sure, thanks David Latapie Cheesy

As promised, the summary from #webwallet on Slack (https://hyperstake.slack.com/messages/webwallet/)

(old version)

webwallet
  • name is HyperWallet (like the "Counterwallet" for CounterParty)
  • possible base code: KryptKoin wallet
  • all-in-one solution
    • replaces HTML5 wallet (which itself replaces Qt5 wallet)
    • replaces mobile wallets (iOS or Android) and would make wallet available for Windows Phone
    • in line with the trend of "everything on the cloud". No risk of HDD crash, no requirements for 24/7 CPU usage for staking on computer or Raspi
  • cold minting!
  • integration with HyperPool - now that is green mining. And would probably prove useful for merchants too
  • main site: hyperchain.info. For those concerned with centralisation, the webwallet will be open-sourced, so it could be installed on your server. Which means communities or companies willing to offer such a service could also provide a HyperStake webwallet
  • mnemonic seed could be added
  • "maintenance fees" could be implemented. "2% of stakes goes to maintenance fees - this includes participating in the highly optimised HyperPool - all of this completely automated, you don't have to do a single thing - passive income." This would encourage the creation of other, fee-less wallets, which in turn would reduce centralisation

What is needed now: write down the functional specification, find someone to code HyperWallet. Help is welcomed for both task. Let's start with the functional specification.

Monero: the first crytocurrency to bring bank secrecy and net neutrality to the blockchain.HyperStake: pushing the limits of staking.

the price is 60 EUR for the initial setup and for the first month, 25 EUR for every further month.
I also accept BTC instead of EUR.
60 EUR is fine, but 25 EUR more per month is a steal.
Thanks Cor for the answer.
