Dont lie.

1 November will be only Anon Beta Test & without Decentralized !!!

Navtech Anon Beta

With November 1st one week away, we are closing in on the release candidate version of the anon scripts. I have just released a new version to the servers today for the beta test group and I am hopeful that this version is the one which we will release with the only addition being more unit tests.

I have successfully implemented and tested the queuing system at maximum payload. I have sent 10 x 10,000 NAV transactions within in the 2 minute processing cycle window. The server is only loaded with 50,000 NAV so it can't process the entire amount in one cycle. I expected a queue to form and for the payments to get processed in 2 cycles. This test was successful and I received all 100,000 NAV back to my wallet in the expected time frame.

I have also implemented a queue checker when your wallet requests an available incoming server. If the queue is more than 30 minutes long (eg. there is a pending transaction with 60 or more confirmations) the server will tell the wallet it is unavailable and your wallet will try the next server.

I have also done some work to refine how the outgoing servers are refilled from the incoming servers which will allow for more randomness within the cluster when it comes to choosing servers to transact with.

I am confident in this current version and when the beta testers are happy I will label this as our release candidate version. I will be steadily working towards my goal for November 1, to implement as many unit tests as possible.

I will keep you all updated with the progress from the beta test group and especially if we encounter any late coming issues.

Not much else to report this week. We are at the business end of the Public Anon Release, so the whole team is working hard to pull together for November 1.

To clarify, November 1 is the public release of our fully operational Anonymous Transaction Network. Decentralisation will follow after this but most of the groundwork for decentralisation is already done with this release.

I must say, I'm pretty pumped to have 50,000 of these coins.  If it goes to 1 dollar, that will only be around 60 million marketcap... sounds quite  possible with this sweet product. Isn't speculation fun?

So much chatter lately on Zcash . I wonder what the effect will be tomorrow for NAV when Zcash starts trading? Huh
I agree that you shouldn't be talking about Zcash here. But in order to lower your fear ... there will only be mined 100 Zcash today. And the amount of mined Zcash will continue to be low the coming weeks. So I don't see any worries for NAV in the short term. And in the long term ... Zcash didn't proof anything and might be full of flaws ... something which even the Zcash team admits on their site. NAV has proven that it works. So for the moment NAV doesn't have to fear anything. The only thing that NAV has to care about at the moment is to get the coin used ASAP in a market place one the decentralization is done.

Zcash will be 1 big bubble that is going to burst really hard and hurt many investors. People think they are going to make a lot of money like when ETH or ETC came out, but this time things are different. Zcash is not mined yet so there is almost no supply. But demand is huge because investors are making the mistake that this will be like buying ETH or ETC. But ETC and ETH already had a decent supply at its launch. So what will happen to Zcash is that the initial bubble will be gigantic. And when it pops investors will burn themselves really hard. So at least for me, at this moment NAV is the better option. I prefer to have a proven coin with its fundamentals right over a currently overhyped coin that didn't proof anything and is going to have a gigantic bubble that will make a lot of victims.

I agree completely with you Smiley

Navtech Anon Public Launch

Date: Tuesday 1 November 2016

THE UNBREAKABLE CODE

This means we will release the wallet version the beta testers have been using to send anonymous transactions as the main wallet for download for public use and anyone using the full node wallet will be able to send anonymous transactions.

The anon system at this point will be run as a cluster of servers maintained by the Nav Coin Development Team.

It all runs off decentralised block chain technology and we are able to bring up new servers in this cluster anywhere in the world.

So in some respects the architecture we are running is capable of being decentralised but for the first public iteration, we are retaining control of the processing servers.

The next step after this is to get a 2nd trusted party to setup their own cluster of servers and this will effectively be our beta test for decentralising the system.

After we have 2 clusters operating successfully, we will opensource the code for anyone to setup their own cluster of servers for use and at this point the system will be fully decentralised.

I hope this makes sense.

Cheers,
Craig

Well, I expected a big pump but this is just insane ... on Kraken people even bought at 200 BTC. What the hell are those people smoking Huh This must be some market manipulation of people selling this coin. Good to see NAV is going up. Keeping my fingers crossed for more upside on november 1.  Cool

I think it has gone down so much it has broken poloniex's percentage change algo.

It should really be showing:

ZEC -14700%

since it started at 2500 BTC / ZEC and is now at 17 BTC / ZEC

 Shocked
