These are announces through the coin announcements and it's kinda chaotic. This group is large enough and it will give some clear distinction between coins and services.
Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Many services are not about money, buying/selling so they don't really fit in the marketplace.

Looking at your list, topics about bidcoin or similar auctions sites, as well as topics about the altcoin payment processing services, and portfolio assist sites belong in Marketplace (Altcoins). The rest can stay in Alternate cryptocurrencies.
