Downloaded wallet v1.0.1.2 and yes the sinc prob seams to be solved but all my coins are unconfirmed now.

Can u explaine me why, please???

And by the way sory about my stress yesterday and keep up the good work dev.

Can you please PM a screenshot. And also check the block explorer if you're on the correct chain.

yes i agree with you  but i see my wallets ans it s very not cool :/

edit:9h30 continue mining since this morning,a lot a block this morning when diff was 0---->0.0000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 AID in my wallet

i m loosing faith

The mining reward is designed to be less (or more) depending on the diff. It’s roughly an approximate 8:1 ratio (still working on understanding it better). In general terms, as the network hashrate and diff fall, so does the reward, and vice versus with the opposite. Put in other terms, you should basically expect the same reward for your hashrate submitted regardless of network hashrate and difficulty (that is if my understanding is correct).

I’m thinking it would be a good idea to put together some FAQ’s with stuff like this.

One of the two other currently important areas for FAQ’s that immediately come to mind would be install instructions and install issues with known possible solutions. Sometimes deleting data files from the AidBit folder/directory works to correct a failed install, sometimes using the default install fix sync issues works, etc. Putting that into an FAQ for newcomers should be helpful. Helping out with, and encouraging further troubleshooting would be the main thrust behind the creation of these FAQ. The second of my two most important currently key issues is the forking issue. An FAQ instructing on how to insure you’re on the correct blockchain and the need for vigilance would be very useful I would think. We have a shared responsibility and are all in this together.

Unfortunately I personally don't have the time to do more with this than make the suggestion.   Sad

Thank you very much for your suggestions. Actually, the FAQ and help sections were scheduled for now. Unfortunately, the current priority is to diagnose and fix all low level problems.

Regarding missing coins, don't worry, pools' wallets are safe and everything mined on the correct blockchain will be sent to you, one way or the other.

I'm on block 13805 as of today.

nvm. I had to dl vs 1.0.1.2 again for it to update the wallet sync. Im on block 14362 at this moment.

Block explorer is on block 14396.

While two of my computers (Windows and Linux) are both on block 13824. I did delete the contents of the AidBit folder and re-downloaded the blockchain twice.

Which one is on correct fork? I would assume it is the 13824 blocks chain, because 14396 blocks is just too many! Looks like a time warping attack of some kind.

Please provide ways to verify.

I need it to make sure the optimized AidBit pool (http://cryptohunger.com:81/) works correctly.

PS: Because today I noticed that it got stuck with "WARNING: Invalid checkpoint found! Displayed transactions may not be correct! You may need to upgrade, or notify developers." even though I have the latest sources from github.

I downloaded the newer version of the wallet again and it seems to be syncing well but when i tried to mine on Maya I got this line that Id never seen before.

[2014-07-27 20:25:44] stratum_recv_line failed
[2014-07-27 20:25:44] Stratum connection interrupted

Not sure how common it is but when i saw it I stopped the wallet miner. Awaiting further instructions.

nevermind, wallet matches block explorer now

i retested few minutes,it' s ok

synch ok on rig 2.
always 670.42 "no confirmed" .  loose all POS reward of yesterday.

i (re.re.re.re.re.)re try mining  one rig in maya  one in felix.

wait and see.

dev  could you see with coin swap for fix the wallet? i have coin stuck on it,impossible to withdraw( NO ONE SELL ON COIN SWAP, NOT AT 1.2.3  OR 10 SAT !!! )

Good morning everybody, today it's going to be a big day for AidBit. Yesterday we took some radical approaches, trying to cover all the bases on our end. We did the following, after maya went rogue again:

We deleted Maya's main wallet and started from scratch, reconfigured both pools (Felix is down for the time being) to start at diff 32 (dynamic range from 1 - 512), changed the payment interval from 30 to 60 seconds and re-enabled peers searching.

While I was fixing the pools, vger started rethinking the dynamic reward algorithm and came up with the following changes, which will require the fork. Previously the reward was calculated based on last block difficulty/last block height, which was causing problems when the pos blocks appeared. Unfortunately we haven't  noticed that on the test network, since we were running low diff. Although we've fixed that, we want to make the algo perfect. We will start to calculate the reward based on current nbits and current height.

But first we need to test the proposed changes. Later today you can expect some problems on our pool servers, so please setup fallback.
