They did roll out a great rake schedule, best VIP rewards, and on top of that if you're fortunate enough to find me, you can get another 50% rakeback on top of all that.  I think they are going to wait until the tourney jackpot hits maybe 100 btc's before they host some kind of large tourney or freeroll.

I am actually in favor of a tourney then a regular BBJ which the major has no chance of ever claiming.

They do have a competitive advantage over other btc poker sites, I've always said that.  But my claim is that they "promise" a lot of "mysterious" things that never happen.  Where are the VIP tier freerolls?  What are the platinum/gold/silver numbers in the sportsbook?  Why are they charging extra rake on cash game tables for a BBJ that apparently isn't real?  What is this tourney jackpot you are talking about?

The tourney jackpots going to hit at least 50 I'm guess before they release it to the players....

Not sure about sportsbook, and the vip freerolls say "coming soon" which i'm fine with because the vip rewards are awesome.

Yeah, again...I don't know what you are talking about.  Do you mean the daily double?  That hits every week.  Do you mean the thing you have been promoting as a BBJ?  There isn't anything on the site about a BBJ or tourney jackpot.  All I'm looking for is information.

Xiaoxiao is obv clueless when it comes to betcoin poker.

There is a daily double jackpot that gets reset to 50mbtc, and has paid out 2-300mbtc a few times in the last month.

The badbeat jackpot doesn't exist and they are working to remove the counter, yet he is posting pics of it to get attention of new players.

I think there is someone also pretending to be him, making new accounts and sending pms, he decides to ignore me when I tell him.

He acts as if he knows whats happening at betcoin, but the info he shares is proof that he does not keep up with whats going on. (at least as far as poker)

I dont think its a big deal that hes out of touch, but its not cool just making shit up.

That number you see in the BBJ ticker is completely worthless.  It's not being funded by rake, its never being paid etc

I dont know whos pretending to be you.  Read my post in your thread.

That number you see in the BBJ ticker is still being funded by rake 1c at a time.  It's just not going to be paid out the way the original BBJ is being paid out.  I'm currently working on this with them to figure out the best way.

I don't believe there is an imposter.  There is nothing to gain pretending to be me.  All I do is pay out rakeback and promote this special lifetime deal to VIP and new players.  'XiaoRakeback' is the account that pays out the rakeback each week.  It's not an imposter.

Take care bud!

I feel like I'm behind the game since, again, nobody is telling me whats going on.  In the client something is being advertised as a "BBJ".  You have promoted it tons of times ON THIS VERY THREAD as a "BBJ".  There are dozens of tables running that are being raked extra in order to feed this thing which is called a "BBJ" at the tables.  If a qualifying BBJ hand hits and isn't paid out that is insanely deceptive business practices.  Why are tables continuing to be raked extra if they are going to use the money to pay out a tournament?  And if it isn't going to be paid out until "it hits 50BTC", why is that?  They are just going to rake and rake and rake and maybe one day pay it out?  That makes no sense.

So, since you are my affiliate, here are the games that I am currently not playing on Betcoin and am going elsewhere to play:

- Cash games (since I am apparently being lied to about being raked extra)

- SNGs (since they don't have Jackpots months later and they are now counting towards the SNC so Betcoin SNG players are at a horrible competitive disadvantage)

I think they are waiting for their programmer to fix the BBJ thing.  It is most likely going to be put into a tournament or freeroll.  Perhaps depending on one's VIP status, they get entries into the tourney.  I don't know what the amount of the tourney will be, but I know it should be a large one.  I mean if I am going to dedicate potentially many hours to a tourney, I'd want the prizepool to be worth it.

They're only raking 1c for the Jackpot that says "BBJ".  At first I had thought it was a regular BBJ ( when I started promoting it).  I only found out recently that it is not for a BBJ but something else.

I've told them many times that these small things bother people a lot, but they are inexperienced here.

Regarding cash games, the rake for the tournament jackpot is only 1c out of an already industry leading rake schedule.  So it really isn't taking out much if anything from one's winrate.

Question: Are you really leaving the cash games because they didn't tell people the BBJ isn't actually a BBJ and raked extra 1c?  I mean, they still are giving that BBJ # back to the players some how.  They canceled the BBJ because it was very unfair.  The terms were that the house would get 20%!

I mean even if you add 5c to the rake, it is still the best rake/rewards of pretty much any site in the market.  And if you found me.... that's an EXTRA 50%....

Yes.  I'm not going to give my action to a site that practices such deceptive business practices.  What would have happened if I had hit a BBJ hand?  I'd get ripped off for 5BTC?  That's very fucked up.  What does it matter if it is 1c or 100000c?  Why are you defending a site that is lying to it's customers instead of fighting for the players that are signed up under you?

So, again, yes I am no longer going to be playing Betcoin cash games (in addition to not playing Betcoin SNGs since last week when Jackpots were added to SNC).  I don't see the point in being raked extra and being lied to about where it is going.  As you said, it's 1c per hand that's added up to 10BTC in their pocket.  That's 10BTC that should be in the player's pockets.  And as you said two days ago:

Quote

So we're supposed to just sit around and give them an extra 50BTC before they maybe give it back to...who?  Sorry that's very untrustworthy and hurts the players tremendously.

I truly don't believe they were purposely "deceiving" the players.  There is nothing to gain here by deceiving the players.  None of that is going to go in their pockets anyway.  I think they just handled it the wrong way by not keeping players up-to-date.  In fact, they do a lot of things that piss people off and most of it's small annoying things.

Oh believe me, I am doing whatever in my power to help out the players.  The super awesome rake schedule, guess who created it....  Wink   Don't forget, I am a player, so if you guys benefit, so do I, and vice versa!  At first this RB was only 25%, then I got it up to 40, and now 50, and i've added referrals as well.  I mean it's very easy to refer a poker player because of the high %.  I've almost every online player from my home game.

Regarding the tourney, wouldn't you rather have a freeroll/tourney with a 50 btc prizepool then 10 btc prizepool?

They've done enough shady things to lose 90% of my action.  Sorry.  I encourage you, as my affiliate, to fight for the players you represent.  If you are powerful enough to get them to change their rake structure and get a larger cut for yourself, you should be able to encourage them to not take 50BTC of their player's money with a promise to pay it back "sometime in the future".

When it's funded by my money, I want a 0 prizepool.  I want my money unfront, I don't want to loan it to someone with a 0% vig.  Would you be comfortable paying more rake if they promise to pay the extra back to you in three years maybe?  Of course not.  Now imagine you are paying extra rake, with the promise that it was paying into one thing and now you hear (not from them) that that thing isn't real.  And you might get it back.  Maybe.  Once they collect 50BTC.  And it might be a tournament.  Which, of course, is moronic since it was raked from cash games.

Yeah I'd be okay with that as well... actually in favor of that so I will try and see what I can do.  Definitely a good idea to just give it back now and come up with something first lol.  And get a programmer to make the "Bad Beat" say something they intend it for.

I thought the exact same thing now that I think about it during my convo with Paul but then I thought "meh wth it comes out to a few bucks over a long time and a lot of play.

I've told them many times that these small things bother people a lot, but they are inexperienced here.

I'm sorry, there are no two ways around this, the BBJ ticker handling is either shockingly incompetent or intentionally shady. It's not a small thing at all, it's a huge issue that they apparently have been aware of for a way too long time.

A small issue is the formatting of the ticker. The decimal usage is by no means universal. Perhaps 10,525.78 means "ten point five two five seven eight" in US and A, but in my country it means ten thousand five hundred and twenty five point seven eight, which is a decent jackpot  Grin

Otherwise, I'm very satisfied with both you and Betcoin. Keep up the good work!
